A wonderful place for a break away with amazing views from the apartment. Windows and arches made it very attractive. Apartment had everything you needed, reception staff and cleaning lady were excellent, pool and jacuzzi were very nice. The pool restaurant/cafe was disappointing although the couple running it were really lovely people-but the food was not what we had hoped for.
We have just returned from a short break at Forest Hills. Like a castle on a hill with the most amazing views. We were on the top floor, no lift but kept us fit and worth it for the views. All staff are amazing but I have got to mention Suzie who is the wellness therapist. She is brilliant tailored my massage to my problem areas. I will be continuing with online holistic sessions with her. Wished she lived nearer to us. Must mention Joey who has a great personality and keeps the bar and restaurant flowing. Easy travel to Ronda, Tarifa and lots of other resorts more local. Ideal to chill and relax.
A charming residence with welcoming staff. Ideally placed to discover the area. The chef Joey and his meals were great!!! We’ll organiser before and during our stay. Facilities clean and in good state. We would definitely recommend and return again.
Second visit to Forest Hills and it did not disappoint. Debs, the resort manager, is on hand to help. Always friendly faces at reception and a wealth of information about the area and activities. We would not have known about Charca de las Nutrias had it not been for reception staff telling us about it - FANTASTIC spot to visit. The 'hike' is a bit challenging but what a stunning spot to visit.
Very much enjoyed our stay. It's a little out of the way but suited our purpose perfectly. The heated pool is great and all the staff were brilliant. The food and very good and reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning.
You need a car for this one as it's a bit off the beaten track. There is easy access to a supermarket and the A7 and AP7 for exploring. Our apartment was good, kitchen on the small side but equipped with everything needed for a short stay. The pool is on the small side but was never too busy. Warning: there a LOT of stairs! Fantastic management team!
Had two weeks in the lovely resort of Forest Hills. Team members friendly efficient & nothing is too much trouble. The views from our well equipped comfortable apartment were amazing. We would highly recommend this resort. It is a perfect place to stay to visit all the local areas
Visited again since 2018 and loving the new decor. We really enjoyed our stay again and September was more ideal for us as there was a lovely breeze otherwise would’ve been a little too hot. They provided a cot for the baby which was great. Love the swimming pool always. Can’t wait to go back .
Forest Hills is a time-share/fractional ownership resort, and we are members of Seasons. This was our third visit to the resort. The first being in June 2009 when they were in the middle of a big refurbishment, in actual fact they closed the place the week we were there and moved us to other accommodation nearer Malaga. We returned the following year after the refurb. just to see what it was like, and this time we visited in February which was a totally different time of year. Yes this is a hard to find place, and the access road is not well maintained, there are no lifts so this is not for anyone with walking difficulties as there are lots of stairs. But all this is compensated by the wonderful location and view, looking towards Gibraltar, and the African Coast, mountains and…
Just returned from a short 'in need of sunshine' break. Seasons members but had never fancied Forest Hills before - don't know why - but we loved the place. As everyone says, the access road is awful but we live on Exmoor so are used to tiny hilly lanes. Don't let it put you off. Reception was very welcoming and helpful. We were in 109 which is single level so the bathroom is accessed without going through the bedroom - useful if you are with another couple. We regarded the dozens of steps to get there as a daily workout! Pool area was beautifully kept. Bar and restaurant friendly and nice food. The bar was open until late so that if you's been out to eat you could return for a few drinks. Not 5* when compared to a Marriott but very well equipped and furnished. Nearest beach is…
"This resort is tricky to find as it is in land from the beaches but only about a ten minute drive. The resort has plenty of free parking. "Read full review
