Men's Basketball Announces 2022-23 Non-Conference Schedule

Orono, Maine - The University of Maine men's basketball program has announced its non-conference opponents and dates for the 2022 season. Maine will begin the season on Nov. 7 and have 13 games on the non-conference schedule, four home and nine road matchups.

The Black Bears begin their season on the road as they travel to face the University of Nebraska on Monday, Nov. 7.

Maine returns home to host Fort Kent in the home opener on Friday, Nov. 11. That game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip-off at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Following a trip to take on Boston College on Monday, Nov. 14, Maine returns home to meet Columbia on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in 'The Pit' inside Memorial Gymnasium.

The Black Bears then head out on a four-game road trip where they will make stops at Central Connecticut State (Nov. 23), Brown University (Nov. 27), and Fordham (Nov. 30).

The Black Bears wrap up their road trip with a trip to the London Showcase Game at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom on Sunday, Dec. 4. The Black Bears will take on Marist College in that matchup.

Maine will return home for one game against UMaine Augusta on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 4:30 p.m. at The Pit.

The Black Bears wrap up the road portion of their non-conference schedule with three games, making stops at Merrimack on Sunday, Dec. 11, University of Akron on Monday, Dec. 19, and Ohio State University on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Maine concludes the non-conference schedule on Wednesday, Dec. 28 as they play host to Harvard. That game is scheduled for a 7:00 P.M. tip-off at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
