The system offers a unique-to-the-class design and has a disconnect function regardless of articulation. The Bar can also be reconnected automatically when speeds exceed 20 mph on Badlands™ and 50 mph on Raptor.™ Standard on Badlands™ and Raptor.™

The Tech Only Adds to the Broncoâ„¢ SUV Fun

The available technology offered on Bronco™ brings fun and confidence to your outdoor adventures. Starting with the Terrain Management System™ with G.O.A.T. Modes™ (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) that lets you choose the right driving mode to fit ground conditions. To elevate the outdoor experience, the Bronco also has available trail technology including Trail Control, class-exclusive Trail Turn Assist and Trail 1-Pedal Drive. There’s also an available Connected Built-In Navigation System, next-generation hands-free SYNC® 4 system, and Ford Co-Pilot360™ Technology to help keep you confident and in command. (5)(7)(10)(13)(14)

Trail Toolbox

Trail Toolbox

Bronco offers three available trail technologies to elevate the outdoor experience – Trail Control, class-exclusive Trail Turn Assist and Trail 1-Pedal Drive. (5)(11)

Trail Turn Assist

Trail Turn Assist

This class-exclusive feature assists the driver by reducing the vehicle’s turning radius in low-speed, technical off-road environments that require large steering input. This is accomplished through application of negative (brake) torque to the inside rear wheel of the turning vehicle. Trail Turn Assist heightens off-road fun by reducing the driver’s effort required to negotiate difficult off-road terrain. (3)(5)(12)(13)

Trail Controlâ„¢

Trail Controlâ„¢

Available with automatic transmissions, Trail Controlâ„¢ is basically a cruise-control setting for lowspeed trail driving and relieves the stress of constantly adjusting throttle and braking when offroading. (6)

Trail 1-Pedal Drive

Trail 1-Pedal Drive

Class-exclusive, Trail 1-Pedal Drive augments Trail Control™ in more technical terrain. It enables very low-speed crawling and the ability to stop a vehicle without using the brake pedal. When the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, hydraulic brake torque is applied. Only available with 2.7L and 3.0L EcoBoost® engines with automatic transmission option. (3)(5)(11)(15)

Terrain Management Systemâ„¢ with G.O.A.T. Modesâ„¢ Goes Over Any Type of Terrain

Terrain Management Systemâ„¢ with G.O.A.T. Modesâ„¢ Goes Over Any Type of Terrain

The Broncoâ„¢ SUV has up to seven available G.O.A.T. modes depending on trim level, to tailor vehicle performance on various surfaces or conditions. Each mode optimizes the performance of engine, transmission, driveline, steering feel and brake systems to help deliver optimal capability. (3)

Sport Mode

Sport Mode

For sporty driving with improved performance handling and response. This mode increases accelerator pedal response and provides a sportier steering feel. The powertrain system holds onto lower gears longer, helping your vehicle accelerate faster. Two-wheel drive high is the default four-wheel drive mode. Four-wheel drive low is not selectable in sport mode Standard on Base, Big Bend,â„¢ Outer Banks,â„¢ Wildtrak,â„¢ Black Diamondâ„¢ and Raptor.â„¢ (12)

Slippery Mode

Slippery Mode

Enables more confident driving on slippery surfaces and helps make the vehicle easier to control. Slippery mode lowers throttle response and optimizes shifting on unstable surfaces. Traction and stability controls are made more restrictive for tighter control. Slippery mode is standard on all 2022 Ford Broncoâ„¢ trims. (12)

Rock Crawl Mode

Rock Crawl Mode

For off-road use only. Used for very low speed and controlled crossing of aggressive uneven terrain that can include large rocks. Standard on Black Diamond,â„¢ Badlandsâ„¢ and Raptor.â„¢ (12)

Baja Mode

Baja Mode

For off-road use only. Vehicle response tuned for higher-speed off-road performance. Standard on Wildtrak,â„¢ Badlandsâ„¢ and Raptor.â„¢ (12)

Tow Haul Mode

Tow Haul Mode

For improved transmission operation when towing a trailer or a heavy load. This mode moves upshifts to higher engine speeds to reduce the frequency of transmission shifting. This mode also provides engine braking in all forward gears, which slows your vehicle and assists you in controlling your vehicle when descending a slope. The amount of downshift braking provided varies based on the amount you press the brake pedal. Standard on Raptor.â„¢ (12)

Off-Road Mode

Depending on the series, the level of finishes goes from Standard (just the essentials) to Lux (big screen and amenities such as a heated steering wheel). SYNC® 4

The 2022 Bronco™ has a standard SYNC® 4 technology. The standard SYNC® 4 technology on Bronco comes with an eight-inch screen or the class-exclusive, available 12-inch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™

Take your digital life on the road with cordless control of your vehicle’s functions. Access features through the center touchscreen or simply with the sound of your voice. And with Apple CarPlay® compatibility,(20) you can wirelessly connect9 and control your mobile screens from your center screen display.

Ford Power-Up Software Updates

As technology evolves, SYNC® evolves with it. Ford will begin offering advanced cloud-connected update capability for quick and easy wireless upgrades. These updates can help strengthen the ownership experience and may help reduce the need for repair trips. Many updates will be virtually invisible to customers. (17)

360-Degree Camera with Off-Road Views

The available 360-degree camera, part of the High Package, utilizes front-, rear- and mirror-mounted cameras to provide a full bird’s-eye view around the vehicle. Included with the class-exclusive 360-degree camera are the unique off-road spotter views that help provide additional visibility and support to drivers in their pursuit of outdoor experiences like rock crawling. One is the unique off-road tire views (rock crawler spotter views) that are specifically designed to see where the tires meet the ground surface along with any adjacent obstacles or potential contact points that Bronco is driving over. The other is off-road overlays. Using the front camera, off-road overlays show the path that the wheels will be traveling in order to help drivers navigate their way across wild and rugged terrain. (18)(5)(7)

Hill Descent Controlâ„¢

When enabled by the driver, Hill Descent Control automatically engages the braking system as needed to keep you in control while descending steep grades.(18) Standard on manual transmission. Only available with manual transmission in lieu of Trail Control (7)

Rear View Camera with Backup Assist

The Rear View Camera provides a video image on the touchscreen of the area behind your vehicle. The camera is activated when you shift into Reverse and back up slowly. The screen has guides to help you align your vehicle with a trailer or assist you with backing up into tight spaces. (18)(7)

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

We should all drive defensively, but sometimes other drivers’ lack of attention can create a hazard. This feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry — they’ll only activate if they’re needed. (18)(7)(11)
