Naples Weather by Month

Best Time to Visit Naples

You will in all likelihood have the ability to completely appreciate a get-away in Naples whatever the time of year. Contingent upon your weather preference, you may find that certain months suit you better. From November until April, for instance, you can appreciate milder temperatures together with less stickiness and less downpour. \r\n\r\n

From late February until early April you are likely to encounter many spring breakers making a beeline for the south of Florida to appreciate a portion of the excellent Gulf Shore. The major spring break parties though will be on across the Florida peninsula in Miami (about a 2 hour drive away) and Naples isn’t known as a party destination. It’s particularly popular with snowbirds from the north over the winter months.\r\n\r\n

The late spring months are more blazing, progressively sticky and it can rain severely. In any case, when there are torrential downpours, they infrequently last longer than an hour and some downpours can be welcome when it\'s so hot.

Things to know about Naples

Naples is often referred to as the “Golf Capital of the World” given the vast number of golf courses, both public and private, in the vicinity.

  • The Everglades are a short drive away and a hovercraft tour is a quintessentially Floridan experience.
  • 5th Avenue S is in the heart of the town and where some nightlife (if you can call it that, Naples is more on the quiet side) is located. Several fine restaurants line this street and if looking for a drink, Paddy Murphy’s Irish Pub is the place to go.

  • Downtown Naples around 5th Avenue S is littered with delightful galleries and boutique shops.
  • To the north is Mercato, where several notable restaurants, bars, a cinema complex and high end shops are located. This is probably where the main nightlife in Naples is.
  • The beach! The main thing that attracts visitors given the pristine white shores.
