Finnegan Biden made a glamorous appearance last night at the White House state dinner, joining her aunt Ashley Biden for the event.

She reportedly wore a dress that belonged to her grandmother, Jill Biden. (Dr. Biden wore it in 2013 to the Opera Ball.)

The 23-year-old is one of President Joe Biden's seven grandchildren. Here's everything you need to know about Finnegan Biden:

She was born on September 9, 2000.

Finnegan is the second child of Hunter Biden and Kathleen Buhle, and is named after her great-grandmother (Joe Biden's mom), Catherine Eugenia Finnegan Biden. She has an older sister, Naomi Biden, and a younger sister, Maisy Biden.

In high school, she campaigned to change her school's dress code. "I started this campaign where all the girls came into school and surprised the faculty, which they hated, wearing t–shirts saying, ‘I’m not the distraction.’ That was the first time I actually saw sincere impact [from] something I did because we got rid of the dress code and had a forum at our school about it," she shared in 2020.

Finnegan graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 2021.

She graduated with a degree in history with a concentration in American studies, and a minor in art history.

While an undergrad, she campaigned to extend the pass/fail deadline for classes during spring 2020. "I was talking with a lot of my friends," Biden told 34th Street, a student paper. "They were expressing this sincere anxiety about the pass/fail deadline … being in a different time zone, and not knowing if their families are going to get sick."

She campaigned for Joe Biden.

During the 2020 presidential race, Finnegan joined her grandparents on the campaign trail around the U.S.
