I'm sort of still feeling a bit stuffed about stingrays death. Sure I have 13 odd Jim Beams in my system but his passing is really quite sad. He was keeping neighbours together. He is part of the reason I watched it, he always brought good value. I remember when all he used to eat was fish fingers. And even remmeber then he was in prison and he fixed peoples radios, etc. Very Very sad, even when we first saw him streaking at the footy.. which reminds me, Steiger has been in the show longer than stingray, weird huh? The whole thing was laughable.. dead set. Not a tear shed for about 12 hours. By anyone.. you would think that after your brother/son/wierdly arranged neighbours style husband died you would be crying.
The whole Janelle, 'He's still alive god damn it' was terrible. That went nowhere. Just to a scene of her having a sob. You would be distraught.

Darcy rocked! Darcy's plot line, while over the top, was exactly why neighbours used to work for me. That plot played out over weeks, the gambling, the money, selling the practice.. all of it was played out to perfection. LOL Aeris... Tazzle has been in it for quite awhile. He was originally a present from Zeke to Bree but unbeknown to Zeke, Bree doesn't like cats so she kept putting it outside where it would find its way to Harold's. Harold (who overcame his allergies) took a shine to it, kept it and insisted it was his. Eventually Bree came clean to Zeke (and Harold) and Harold officially became Tazzle's owner. We hadn't seen Tazzle for awhile so "cat" Tazzle is quite a bit bigger than "kitten" Tazzle.

Susan's not really coping that well with it all but she knows it's got to be done.
Fraser is still pushing Ringo away, but Ringo is determined not to go home. Lolly sets up a tent for him in someone's (hers?) backyard for him to "run away".

Today was the first episode I've seen this year. It seems just as bad as when I last watched it. Also, Bree seems to have doubled in size since I last saw her (in both height and width).
I did read in the paper a couple of weeks ago though that ratings had dropped heaps and as a result the writers were going to get back to the traditional Neighbours-type stories. They film a few months in advance though so that's going to take a while to filter through to the tv..

Susan's first call from Karl is interrupted when her old flame Father Tom Scully turns up on her doorstep. Explaining that he has left the priesthood for good, he declares that he has never stopped loving her and is ready to offer her the relationship she wanted back in the day. He's appalled to hear that she has taken Karl back, insisting that she deserves better. Feeling dangerously insecure about her marriage already, Susan orders him to stay away from her. Unfortunately, Tom confesses that it won't be that easy: he's the new principal at Erinsborough High.
Dodgy doctor Charlotte Stone sets up shop in Karl's old surgery. Boyd applies for a job as her receptionist with absolutely no idea that she's a fraud intent on conning Erinsborough out of as much cash as she can get. Carmella begs Dr Stone for help with her insomnia and is won over but Charlotte, secretly using student Boyd for medical information, places Carmella on mood-altering medication she may not even need.
Watching Oliver's selfless concern for Alan Napier, Elle realises she's no longer acting: she's really falling for him. Unfortunately, her revelation comes just as Oliver and Carmella are starting to rekindle their relationship.
Janae keeps having flashes of insecurity about Boyd's infidelity. She seeks Susan's advice, wondering if there's any future in a relationship where the trust has been destroyed. Although rattled by Tom's denouncement of her remarriage, Susan insists that she had no qualms about taking cheating Karl back. Janae admires her bravery and maturity but Susan admits that they're not really very different.

No, she's going to scatter Stingray's ashes over the skate ramp thinking that that is what he wanted. However, Janelle wants to keep his ashes at home in an urn "with the family", so Sky emptied the ashes from the urn into a plastic bag (ie she stole the ashes lol).

The first thing my Hubby said when he saw her was, "She's not a real Doctor". I asked why and his theory is that she's not a real Doctor because she keeps asking Boyd what he'd do in this case and that case and what drugs (then writing them down etc).

He is 100% right Aeris. That's exactly what she's doing. I think it's been pretty much established from the get-go that she isn't ridgy-didge. In fact, I think she even took someone's nameplate from the hospital? So perhaps there's a "real" Dr Charlotte Stone somewhere.
She's playing everyone very well though. Obviously her and Terrence are an item but I'm just not sure how their scams are connected yet, or if at all as it could be just a case of them both just fleecing their clients separately.
LOL I just remembered something. There was a scene where Paul was on the massage table and you can just see someones hands rubbing his back and he says "Oh Dr. Stone you're so wonderful" and at that moment I looked at the hands and they were man hands! I was like hahahaha Boydy Boydison!!!! But then the camera panned up and we saw it was actually Dr. Stone and I literally shrieked!

Paul was in utter disbelief over this turn of events. I suspect he was not in the correct frame of mind when he signed over his livelihood to Oliver. What moron doesn't read the terms of a contract before signing ? Then again, his supposed "terminal" condition and just plain egotistical greed were probably contributing factors here.
His feeble attempts at manipulating Elle once again for forgiveness are further proof that Paul Robinson has no real shame, remorse or guilt over anything he does. It's good to see Elle showing some real courage and fight against her fathers devious ways.

I couldn't believe that she didn't know who the father of her baby was. She obviously slept with each of the guys without protection. Then there was the lies about the child's paternity. She lies, cheats, and whores around all over the place. Her character is the epitomy of the word "slut". Completely untrustworthy, and quite gross. I wouldn't go near her with someone elses dick.
