The reopening of New Jersey’s iconic Fairy Tale Forest has been greatly anticipated for months… years, even! It was a quintessential part of our childhoods between 1957 – 2005 and was missed by many when it closed. In 2011, there were whispers of renovations and reopenings. Several years later, the project began in earnest. The park is now ready for visitors with one small setback…a pandemic. Though the timing is unfortunate, all hope is not lost. Fables Restaurant, located on the property, is now open for takeout and outdoor dining, weather permitting.
You can keep up with their menus, reopening plans, and other relevant information on their Facebook Page. You can order online by visiting their website or calling 973-697-5656. Open for a few weeks now, the eatery has garnered rave reviews from diners!
