one of a kind LEFT-HANDED Evoharp 21-bar Chromatic Autoharp | Reverb
Selling my expensive, custom-ordered LEFT-HANDED 21-bar chromatic Autoharp designed by Evo Bluestein and hand-built in North Carolina.
This autoharp (aka chorded zither) is EXTREMELY RARE, because it is a reverse-bodied autoharp that is also electrified with a pickup and preamp installed in the body at extra cost.
The Evoharp is 22" x11.5". It combines elements of the old Oscar Schmidt A-models which were made in the 1960's, but with a contemporary design. It is lightweight (6lbs) and is a pleasure to hold and play. It produces a full and rich open sound. It features relatively light weight, fast action, comfortable size and amazing, beautiful tone. Hand-made construction of Maple,Walnut and Spruce. Quick-Release chord bars are solid Maple and are easily quick-changed. Has strap buttons already installed. Requires a 9v battery to drive the preamp.
Included with this harp are some extras, including a really nice padded case with backpack straps, a separate custom wooden storage case containing 8 extra chord bars, giving you 28 separate chord possibilities!
I have to date about $1400 invested into this rare instrument. The cost of special-ordering a new, acoustic version sells for $1025. However adding a preamp, pickup, case and extra chord bars brings the cost up considerably.
This autoharp is in like-new condition. It has no scratches or defects. It looks brand new. I will accept any reasonable offer from a buyer looking for a rare, hand-made, left-handed autoharp.
