New year, New Edition, New Host. Thanks to ET for five great years of tourneys, I plan to keep it going. Be the same old HTT you know for better or worse with a few tweaks. Hope you enjoy it!
Rules
- 8 participants that can be bumped to 16
- Participants must have 500 posts or must have completed at least 1 CAV or Tourney Match
- 15 points for characters
- 15 points for perks
- Win by Death, Incap, or KO.
- Standard Gear.
- No BFR.
- No reality-warping (powers that may fall under this or have some association will be dealt with on a case by case basis due to the broad nature of reality-warping)
- No Summons, constructs, or any other fodder must be no stronger than an MFTL Star Buster.
- No Power Stealing, copying is fine
- Power Copying is limited to in battle characters for opponents, and only the present team for allies.
- Summons, constructs, or other fodder are limited to 200
- Cloning is limited to 25
- Time Jumping, remnants, speeding up one's own time is allowed. Other forms of time manipulation are banned.
- DC Characters are composite Post Crisis(Pre 52, New 52, Rebirth)
- Marvel is 616 current. Unless otherwise stated
- Wildstorm characters are allowed their feats from DC comics.
- Manga characters get manga and anime feats(Including Filler). No Movies, Light Novel or Video Games, Canon Databooks are fine
- Dragon Ball is composite manga/anime capped at BOG or pre god levels.
- Star War is EU
- Everyone is allowed their canon feats and is current
Characters: 15 points
You all know by now. It is a PYP. Lists are always going to lack a perfect balance. Some will be overpriced, some will be underpriced. It's something we live with. However, if you do present a legitimate claim and argument, I will take your position into full consideration with an open mind.
Character Requests:
Character requests will be done in similar ways to past editions. Everyone gets one free request. make sure you pay attention to how I define free here. Free in this context means I will accept non-CV respect threads or detailed CaVs. After the freebie we return to the normal rule of the character must have a respect thread on ComicVine for me to look at. The only exception to this is if I know the character very well. You must make a formal request on the thread. He is an example of a request.
If your character doesn't have a respect thread then tough luck. I will not tolerate any complaints or sneaking characters around that I catch wind of. If you abuse requests I will follow up on each of them or simply begin denying them with maximum prejudice.
