TORONTO (December 3, 2014) –The countdown to the most wonderful time of the year is on as CTV unwraps its full holiday programming lineup today, trimmed with two highly anticipated network broadcast premiere events: MASTERCHEF CANADA: A HOLIDAY SPECIAL (Dec. 15) and CORNER GAS: THE MOVIE (Dec. 17).This December, CTV also presents blockbuster films (THE HELP and HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 1 and 2), timeless classics (IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE and A CHRISTMAS CAROL), and a fresh batch of Hallmark holiday movies. CTV is also making its festive programming available on demand throughout the holiday season with Holidays on CTV.ca and the CTV GO app.

In keeping with the tradition of holiday made-for-TV movies, CTV’s lineup treats viewers to four new heart-warming films: ANGELS AND ORNAMENTS (Dec. 7) starring Jessalyn Gilsig (GLEE) and Sergio Di Zio (FLASHPOINT); ONE STARRY CHRISTMAS (Dec. 13) starring Sarah Carter (The Vow) and Paul Popowich (THE BRIDGE); BEST CHRISTMAS PARTY EVER (Dec 21) starring Torrey DeVitto (PRETTY LITTLE LIARS) and Steve Lund (BITTEN); and THE CHRISTMAS PARADE (Dec. 20), starring AnnaLynne McCord (90210), Jefferson Brown (ROOKIE BLUE), Jennifer Gibson (Maps to the Stars), and Drew Scott (PROPERTY BROTHERS), with special cameos by ETALK Reporter Devon Soltendieck and INNERSPACE Co-Host Morgan Hoffman.
