Magnus I of Norway (1024 - 1047). King of Denmark from 1042 until his death in 1047. King of Norway from 1035 until 1047. He was the illegitimate son of King Olaf II of Norway, who was deposed by Cnut the Great. Magnus regained Norway after Cnut death and tookover Denmark after the death of Harthacnut.
