The tour guide was friendly and informative.
It was slow paced allowing the passengers to take in the natural surroundings.

Wow, such a beautiful green oasis in the middle of Melbourne's city district. Gardens are huge and very well maintained with lots of variety. Sprawling lawns to sit and chill, lakes to enjoy and beautiful gardens.
In summer you can do Moonlit Cinema or Shakespear in the park...
Accessible to all and free entry.
Great place to connect with nature

We went on the walk yesterday with Uncle Dan. Although we have been to the Botanical Gardens many times before it was a really good experience to get Uncle Dans take on the plants and history. He was an excellent and funny guide which made for a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. would recommend it as an essential experience for any overseas visitor.

Thank you for providing such glowing feedback. We agree that the Aboriginal Heritage Walk is a wonderful way to gain more insight into First Nations history and culture, right here in the heart of Melbourne. Uncle Den is an amazing guide and is always excited to share his knowledge and experiences. We hope to see you in the gardens again soon.

This was a great morning, we were the only people on the Explorer. The guide was excellent and our American friends thoroughly enjoyed their time with us there. he was a retired landscape gardener from California so knew a lot of the plants.

Forest Therapy - Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne. This was not what I thought but everything that I loved. I thought it would be languishing amongst the trees but this was so much more immersive and thoroughly enjoyable. I was hoping to achieve some calm and peace but it was at such a deeper level than anticipated. Just absolutely lovely.
