Great product, but big price increase

First, I will say that these are great - everyone in our family likes the taste and take them happily. So, I highly recommend them in terms of the product itself, and when I got our first bottle for $8 in late January 2020, I thought they were a great deal. However, when it was time to get another bottle in mid-March 2020, the price had jumped to $17.49, which is more than double in less than two months...presumably because demand increased dramatically due to the coronavirus pandemic. It's now time to order another bottle, and the price is currently $18 in early May 2020 - so not much of an increase over March...but still more than twice what I paid in late January. At this point, as much as I like these, I think I'm going to switch to a different brand that is less expensive...but if these eventually come back down closer to the $8 range, I'd definitely recommend them again.

Immune-stimulating Fruit Gummies!

It’s sometimes hard to get kids to take medicine, but not when it’s in yummy berry-flavored gummies. These are delicious, good chewy texture, tart and not too sweet, and promote improved immune response. Elderberry has been shown to act similarly to Tamiflu on influenza, but when I actually get the flu, I don’t feel like going in to the clinic to get it, so it’s nice to have this on the shelf ready to help fight off the flu. I wish they had adult dosing listed on the label, but I just take twice as much as the over-4 kid dose (2 gummies). There is a small error in the Supplement Facts on the back, the calorie and total sugar counts should be double in the right column (2 gummies) but are shown as 15 and 3g respectively, not 20 calories and 4g as it should be if the left column figures of 10calories and 2g sugar are correct for 1 gummy. Not a huge problem in itself, but it lost one star because it reduces confidence in the accuracy generally.

These are marketed for kids, but great for adults too. Each gummy gives you 50% of your daily need for vitamin C and 34% of the daily value of zinc. Two very important things to not be deficient in, especially in these times of covid. You also get elderberry which is good for the immune system. The taste is very pleasing. Please note they do have 2g of sugar per gummy, but I guess that is what makes them so tasty.

We buy elderberry gummies every beginning/end of Summer to get a jumpstart on any seasonal allergies and keep them on hand during cold and flu season to boost immune system and cut cold durations. These are by far the best. The ones we have purchased by another brand the last 2 seasons are so sweet and sticky that she (nor I) could barely stand to get them down, but we knew they were needed and she couldn't take the capsule form. Gave these MAV a try and I'll be sticking with this brand. Not overly sweet, very palatable just sweet enough and they taste really good. The size is great too. The other brand we were buying were too big in my opinion. Definitely will keep MAV on hand!

I bought these gummies about a few months ago because my 2 year old has a lot of cousins who are constantly sick and would sometimes get her sick too. She hasn't been sick since (we go to an indoor playground 1x a week and see her cousins regularly, and even just returned from a trip including red eye flights and all types of change of climate and lack of sleep / good nutrition). We used a different brand of elderberry syrup before the gummies for a couple of weeks but the gummies are much easier to give her and she didnt really like the taste of the syrup so we've been using these. She likes the taste and every morning asks for her gummies.

Easy delicious kids supplements

Gummy‘s are such an easy way to get your kids to take supplements without hassle. I absolutely acknowledge that these gummy‘s are full of sugar, but I make it a habit not to have gummy candies in the house. I do appreciate that they are not made of gelatin which makes it more available to vegetarian children. We are in the middle of allergy season so I’m looking forward to seeing how much these help at the end.

Kids are sure to remind me of their daily dose. Only complaint is I wish you got more for your money & there was a larger bottle to last longer.
