'He's calling me mama'! Giuliana Rancic's son Edward Duke is taking after his TV presenter mother as she reveals his first words
Mama's boy: Giuliana Rancic's son Edward Duke is learning to speak his first words, she told People on Sunday
Her fans know her as the co-anchor of E! News and as a catty presenter on E!'s Fashion Police.
And it looks like Giuliana Rancic's eight-month-old son Edward Duke is going right along in his mother's footsteps as the 38-year-old has revealed he's spoken his first words.
'He's been going, "Mama mama, Dada dada," but I don't know if he knows what he's saying,' she told People on Sunday.
She also shared with the magazine that her youngster is starting to teethe, making his smile even sweeter.
'His second baby tooth came in recently and it's so cute when he smiles!! He is such a happy baby and Bill and I can't wait to see him with a full mouthful of teeth.'
And it's not just his speaking skills that he's taken from his brunette mom -- as Giuliana says he's already showing off his fiery Italian temper.
'Right now his personality is kind of split between Bill and I.
'When he wants something really bad, the fiery little Italian comes out -- his arms go down to his side, he turns red and goes, "Grrr."'
The new mother -- who welcomed son Edward into the world via surrogate last August -- posted an excited series of tweets on Sunday as she marked her first Mother's Day.
First Mother's Day: 'Best.Morning.Ever! RT @BillRancic: Happy Mother's Day mommy...now please feed me!!!!' the brunette star tweeted on Sunday
'Having a great Mother's Day with @BillRancic and baby duke :). Wishing all my fellow mommies a wonderful day!!! #supermoms,' she said.
'Just received the most beautiful flowers from my friends @Danskin. Thank u!' the TV presenter
Her husband Bill Rancic shared a snap of their bouncing boy with his eyes wide open, playing with his monkey-toe onesie in a pile of sheets.
'Happy Mother's Day mommy...now please feed me!!!' the former Apprentice castmate wrote.
'Best.Morning.Ever!' she replied.
Enjoying her special day: The E! News presenter was gifted with flowers and shared them with her Twitter followers on Sunday
Her little gift: The 38-year-old and her husband Bill Rancic turned to a surrogate after suffering fertility issues
The couple have been enjoying their go around as first time parents, but have learned along the way that keeping their relationship alive is the most important thing.
'We're husband and wife, but we're also best friends, and it's funny because a lot of people, when they have kids, they put the baby first, and the marriage second,' she told Us Weekly last month.
'That works for some people. For us, I find, we put our marriage first and our child second, because the best thing we can do for him is have a strong marriage.'
She added: 'So we're even stronger than we ever were before and even imagined we could be.'
So happy! Giuliana Rancic was spotted with her smiling baby boy Edward Duke at LAX in Los Angeles, California on Saturday
Happy as a clam: The eight-month-old looked cheery after their long flight
Meanwhile Giuliana’s husband Bill has recently revealed that she resisted his advances when they first began dating.
The 41-year-old admitted to Today Show anchor Natalie Morales: 'I tried to make the first move... And I was rejected!'
But Giuliana explained: 'That was one of my rules. No kiss for at least three dates. I didn't want to be the kissing bandit.'
