Dwyane Wade’s daughter shades dad over backyard party for new game show

Dwayne Wade’s new gig as game show host of “The Cube” is already causing problems for his two-year-old “Shady Baby” daughter Kaavia — and it hasn’t even premiered yet.

Wade told us that TBS built a replica of the set for a party to celebrate its premiere in his backyard, and organizers ended up having to remove the toddler’s slide for the installation.

It did not go over well.

“She was so mad. She does not play about her stuff. She [wanted to know] ‘where’s my slide? Where’s my swing,’” Wade told Page Six.

In a video posted to her “Shady Baby” Instagram handle (run by mom Gabrielle Union), an adorably irate Kaavia searches the yard for her things, and asks, “Where’d it go?”

“It’s not nice. Where’d it go? Give my slide back people. Give my slide back… you can’t take it in the house. I can’t find it. I can’t find it! Where’d it go?” she asked.

Wade told us they captured the funny moment as it unfolded, and noted that the toddler owes her act mostly to her mom.

“She’s her mother wrapped into a small package,” he said. “She is the boss. She runs this asylum over here… She’s been this way since she was born. She knows what she wants, and you can’t force anything on her.”

Kaavia’s no-nonsense attitude inspired the couple’s children’s book, “Shady Baby,” which he says they hope to turn into a series. The retired Miami Heat player is also releasing his own photo memoir later this year with over 200 images that chronicle his time on the court.

As for his new game show gig? Wade, who is also an executive producer, told us he decided to do it because “it was something I was fearful of doing, so I had to overcome this fear.”

“The Cube” premieres Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on TBS.
