I had a last minute hair emergency on a Friday morning and arrived to the salon about 10 minutes after they opened. I was the first client to arrive and was directed to the shampoo bowl immediately. Marie asked me about my hair and if I wanted a deep conditioner, which I declined. Marie did an excellent job shampooing my hair, I didn't want it to end.
Marie asked if I wanted a roller set or strait to blow dry, I chose the latter. The blow dry process was great, although it was extremely high heat, I never felt it, well until my edges.
I was so glad I chose this salon. Very friendly staff and I was in and out in an hour. I have a lot of thick hair, so this was impressive. Thank you Marie for your excellence in mastering thick, long, kinky hair.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Angela C.Baltimore, MD03Dec 7, 2022

Love the way they do my hair. Prices fluctuate from every appointment. It's never the same.

I visited this salon for the first time today. They were open early on Sunday which was exactly what I needed for this emergency visit.
The ladies were pleasant when I walked in. I was in the wash bowl immediately after walking in. They were effective, efficient and timely getting me washed, under the dry, blown out and out the door. I will be back. Thank You ladies.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jametra C.Baltimore, MD5113Dec 28, 2022
I'm new to the Baltimore area and wanted to get a blowout recently. I found this salon online and their reviews were better than the rest so I decided to give them a shot. I was taken to the shampoo bowl right away and decided to go with a deep conditioner, big mistake. She left me under the dryer for over an hour for a deep conditioner. I think it was so that she could take other clients and that was very unprofessional as I was there first. She went ghost and I sat for an additional 45 min with hair that still had deep conditioner in it. By the time she rinsed it out, I had no choice but to skip the rollers and get her to blow dry my hair. There was a woman in the shop who was complaining that the shampoo was burning and that they put relaxer in the bottles and I paid no mind. Well fast forward to 2 weeks later, my next wash reeked of relaxer (sulfur smell) and my curl pattern was GONE!!! My hair has been breaking bit by bit and I did not use additional heat on my hair after getting it done. I am still smelling the chemical smell when I wash my hair and I will never go back to this salon. Beware natural girlies!

I read both good and not so good reviews and decided to just take the plunge. I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I'm new to Baltimore and was familiar with DMV Dominican salons but not Baltimore (No, we don't consider Baltimore a part of the DMV), but I was pleased with the customer service and time it took to complete my hair. I was a walk-in as well, and I had a deep conditioning and I was done within a couple of hours. I love my hair and will make this my regular salon.

If you've had a NYC dominican blowout, you will like this salon. Ive been to almost every dominican salon in Montgomery County, PG & DC and this one is the best. I was visiting the area and glad I found this place. I will now travel over an hour to come here regularly because it's so rare I get my hair blown out correctly. I came during a weekday morning, no one was there. She gave me a thorough wash, head massage, great deep condition and my hair was silky and lasted for a while. No flakes or dry scalp that I usually have within 1-3 days. I haven't had a relaxer in years so my hair is super thick. Most places leave it bumpy, puffy and are too lazy to do a thorough job. But here, the blow out was quick, well done, without burning my hair and scalp. The 2 ladies were also nice. Highly recommend.

I'm natural they snuck perm in the shampoo and now I lost my curls. I have been natural for 8 years and my hair is fine hair so it was very unnecessary to add perm to my hair! My hair is already manageable.

I had called a couple days earlier to make an appointment and I was quoted $55 to get my hair washed, deep conditioned, trimmed and flat ironed. I went into the shop and I was charged $70 instead because my hair was "long." I have natural hair...my hair is thick, but I have never been told that it's long. After my hair was blow dried, it looked straight enough. I told the lady doing my hair that she didn't need to flat iron it since the next day I would be getting my hair braided and if there would be a reduction in price. I was told that the hair wash, blow drying and flat iron were included in the price, which I have never heard of. I felt very cheated. Never going back there again. Normally, I'm charged no more than $60 in the other hair salons that I've gone to and that's $60 after tip. Very disappointed in this place. If it was possible to not give them any stars, I would.

We apologize for the miscommunication. All the prices we provide over the phone are starting prices due to not knowing what texture, health and lenght of the hair. We hope you liked what we did with your hair that you will come back again.
