If you’re looking to start planning your next trip to Disneyland Resort, the first detail you’ll want to figure out is the current price of park tickets. From single-day, single-park tickets to multi-day park hopper tickets, the price of spending a day (or more!) at Disneyland or Disney California Adventure can vary, depending on a number of factors.
So, what are Disneyland ticket prices right now? For 2023, Disneyland Resort ticket prices start at $83 per person and max out at $244.
However, this doesn’t include extras – like Park Hopper or parking. With these add-ons, ticket prices can really add up. And it’s also important to note that ticket prices do depend on whether you’re visiting in a peak or non-peak season, too.
The base Disneyland ticket prices for 2023 are for all Guests, including those ages 3 to 9 and ages 10 and up. Guests under 3 years old don’t need a ticket.
Important: Just because you have a Disneyland or Disney California Adventure ticket in hand does not mean you can get into the park you’re planning to visit. As Disney continues to monitor and limit capacity, you must have an approved park reservation. Disneyland Ticket Price Increases
We express ticket prices for Walt Disney World as a range ($83 to $244) because the cost of an individual ticket can fluctuate by day and by season. While Disney advertises that tickets start at $83, many days (in fact, most days) start higher.

While this has always been Disney’s MO, it’s important to note that 2023 Disneyland price hikes are steeper than in previous years. Particularly busy days, like during the summer months, start at $129 to $159.
And as we get into holiday territory, you can expect to pay $159 to $179 per ticket on many days, especially weekends.
Prices can increase throughout the year, too, with Disney unveiling ticket price hikes annually. In 2022, Disneyland saw an 8 to 9 percent ticket price increase in October. Planning and purchasing your tickets in advance can help you avoid any unexpected price increases that may occur before your trip.
How Far in Advance Can You Buy Disneyland Tickets?
You can purchase your Disneyland or Disney California Adventure park tickets well in advance of when you’re planning to visit in 2023. Typically, you can purchase tickets up to five months in advance.
For example, on January 1, you can purchase tickets for visits through May 1 of that same year. Throughout the year, increasingly more dates into the future open up. It’s best to start looking around the five-month mark if you’re hoping to look at ticket tiers and prices (and see what park reservations remain available.)
Remember, you will need to book a park reservation after purchasing your tickets. Reservations for the second park aren’t required if you plan to park hop, but you will need to make a reservation for your first park of the day.

2023 Disneyland Ticket Prices Breakdown
Purchasing tickets for Disneyland Resort is pretty straightforward, both in price and in process. Ticket prices for a standard ticket (or One Park Per Day) start at $83 and can reach $179, and they fluctuate depending on the day of the week and the season.
Disneyland tickets are priced based on a tier system that includes seven different tiers (Tier 0 to Tier 6). Those tiers correspond directly to demand. The higher the tier, the more demand Disney expects for that date – and the higher the ticket price.
For example, a ticket for a less popular day of the week, like a Wednesday or Tuesday, during the slow season of January will be a Tier 2 ticket. That Tier 2 ticket will cost around $129. A Tier 6 ticket, which is valid on a weekend and the peak holiday season in December, will run about $179.
Fortunately, the park you choose to visit doesn’t directly impact the cost of your ticket. You can choose to visit Disneyland or California Adventure for the same price, as long as park reservations are available.
Disneyland Resort Ticket Add-Ons
When you purchase a ticket, Disney will suggest a bunch of extra options for you. Depending on the way you plan to tackle your vacation, some of these, though they add to the overall cost, may really deliver extra value to your experience.
Here’s a look at these Disneyland ticket add-ons and what they can offer you.

Park Hopper Add-On
The most common add-on for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure tickets is Park Hopper. This allows you to visit both theme parks in the same day – and you don’t even need a Park Pass reservation for the second park.
Adding Park Hopper to your Disneyland Resort ticket costs $65 per ticket.
How does Park Hopper work? You must wait until 11 AM to begin park hopping. However, you can start your day at either Disneyland or California Adventure; just make sure you have a park reservation for the one you’d like to visit first. Starting at 11 AM, you’re then free to hop on over to the other park.
Pro Tip: Is Disneyland all booked up on your desired date? Get a reservation for California Adventure instead, spend the morning riding Radiator Spring Racers and the Incredicoaster, and check out any open festival booths or lunchtime hotspots like Lamplight Lounge for a mid-day meal. Then, cross the esplanade and head into Disneyland at 1 PM. You’ll have a late start, but the classics will all be waiting for you.

Genie+ (and Lightning Lane)
If you’re hoping to skip the long wait for some rides, Genie+ – and its companion service, Lightning Lane – is a must-have add-on. This on-demand service is an add-on you can purchase each day you’re at the theme parks, and it includes some Lightning Lane entrances in its per-day cost.
However, you can also purchase individual Lightning Lane entry for single rides. Some of the hottest rides throughout the resort, like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers, are available for individual Lightning Lane entry purchases. This is a per-ride (and per rider) added cost.
Both Genie+ and individual Lightning Lane entry vary in price, fluctuating depending on demand, seasonality, and park crowd levels. You’ll need to check the Disneyland Mobile App each day for the price. However, the prices do tend to stay within the following ranges:
- Genie+ ranges starts at $15 per day, but can climb as high as $30 (or more!) per day
- Lightning Lane single entry starts at $12 per ride, but can reach up to $25 per ride
Disney PhotoPass
Disney PhotoPass is an add-on you can purchase for the day of your park visit. It costs an additional $20 per day. While it doesn’t offer any advantage in terms of visiting more theme parks, it does offer the opportunity to capture all of the photos and videos you take during your visit to Disneyland Resort.
You’ll get PhotoPass when you purchase Genie+ for a day at the parks. With Disney PhotoPass through Genie+, you can download and share all of the photos and videos that you take with Disneyland’s photographers over the course of your day at the parks.

2023 Disneyland After Dark Ticket Prices
In addition to purchasing theme park tickets, Disneyland also offers special “after hours” parties called Disneyland After Dark. These hard-ticket events take place inside the parks after they’ve closed, each with its own special theme, live entertainment, snacks, and even merch.
At Disneyland After Dark events, Guests get the opportunity to explore the parks at lower capacity. You can ride select attractions with much shorter queues, experience special cavalcades and parades, try new (and often unlimited!) snacks, and have access to exclusive premium food, beverages, and merchandise. Plus, the themes are incredibly fun – past years have seen Star Wars Nite, Merriest Nite, 90s Nite, and Sweethearts’ Nite.

Best of all, you don’t need a regular park admission ticket – or a park reservation – to attend these events. Your Disneyland After Dark ticket is all you need, and it’ll even give you access to enter the parks a few hours before the event actually begins. It’s like a chance to hit up some of your favorite rides “for free” before the party starts.
For 2023, Disneyland After Dark events include:
- Sweethearts’ Nite: Tickets start at $129 per person. This event takes place on select nights from January 31 to February 16, 2023 at Disneyland.
- Princess Nite: Tickets start at $129 per person. This event takes place on March 7 and 9, 2023 at Disneyland.
- Throwback Nite: Tickets start at $129 per person. This event takes place on April 18 and 20, 2023 at Disneyland.
- Star Wars Nite: Tickets start at $149 per person. This event takes place May 2, 4, 8, and 11, 2023 at Disneyland.
- Pride Nite: Tickets start at $129 per person. This event takes place June 13 and 15, 2023 at Disneyland.

Disneyland Resort Parking Costs
In addition to purchasing your theme park tickets, you’ll also want to factor in – and budget for – additional costs during your visit. One of the biggest that you’ll face each day is parking.
While you can easily walk to and from Disneyland Resort if you’re staying at one of the resort hotels or a nearby Good Neighbor hotel, that’s only feasible if you’re already parking nearby. Otherwise, parking at one of the Disneyland Resort lots (the Toy Story Lot, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, or the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure) is your best bet.
Unfortunately, there’s always a cost for parking. And like your theme park tickets, the price can be high.
When you pay to park at any one of the three Disneyland Resort lots or structures, your parking pass for that day is good for just one full day. Here are the prices:
- $30 per day for standard parking (cars and motorcycles)
- $50 per day for preferred parking (cars and motorcycles)
- $35 per day for oversized vehicle parking
- $40 per day for buses or tractors
All parking fees include applicable sales tax.
Note: You can park in the Downtown Disney District Parking Lot, or the Simba Lot, which is located off of Disneyland Drive. However, it may not be any cheaper. The first hour at the Simba Lot costs $10. Each additional hour costs $14, with a maximum daily rate of $66. You can get validation from any Downtown Disney location, with a $20 minimum purchase, but it’s only good for up to three hours of parking.
Do Disneyland Tickets Come With Free Parking?
Unfortunately, purchasing a Disneyland or Disney California Adventure theme park ticket doesn’t include free parking. You’ll need to pay the day rate to park on property.
However, if you’re a Magic Key holder, you may get free or discounted parking. Certain levels of Magic Keys come with discounted parking rates at the Toy Story lot, while others can park for free. Check the details of your Magic Key to determine if you need to pay full price for parking at a Disneyland Resort lot or structure.
Disneyland Resort Hotel Parking
If you’re a resort guest, you may skip out on theme park parking costs by keeping your vehicle at the hotel and walking to the parks each day. However, you will have to pay a hotel guest parking rate if you do bring a vehicle to your hotel.

Parking for Disneyland Resort hotel guests ranges from $35 to $65 a night. Guests who choose self parking at the Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian Hotel, or Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will pay $35 per night. If you opt for valet parking, the cost is $65 per night.
How Much Do Disneyland Tickets Cost? A Real-World Example
Let’s put all this information into practice to figure out how much one day at Disneyland might cost a family of four: two parents, one child 10+, and one child under 10.
This family purchases Tier 3 park tickets and adds a Park Hopper for each ticket. They will pay a parking fee to park at one of the structures. Their selected day is $209 per adult with Park Hopper and $201 per child with Park Hopper. Each person in the group also wants Genie+, which starts at $25 per person for the date selected.
Here’s how it breaks down:
- 3 Adult Tickets with Park Hopper: $627
- 1 Child Ticket with Park Hopper: $201
- 4 Genie+: $100
