How to get a new energy deal after you've moved if you weren't an EDF customer

Welcome to EDF if you've just found out we supply your energy! If we supplied energy to the previous occupier, we'll carry on supplying your new home on a 'deemed tariff' until you've agreed a contract with us or another supplier.

This is how the industry works, so that people always have an energy supply when they first move in.
