Nonetheless, here’s every future Disney movie that is currently scheduled to release in 2022.

Deep Water - March 18

Deep Water

Deep Water is an erotic psychological thriller directed by Fatal Attraction’s Adrain Lyne, which stars Ben Affleck and No Time to Die's Ana de Armas. The two begin partaking in twisted and deadly mind games against one another while realizing those around them are dying. Deep Water also features performances from actors like Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Jacob Elordi, Finn Wittrock, and Lil Rel Howery. The film is being produced by New Regency and distributed by 20th Century Studios (both properties of Disney) and was originally set to release in theaters on January 14, but has now been pushed back to March 18, 2022.

After several movies and short films, the Toy Story franchise is finally introducing a stand-alone film that doesn’t directly follow the original characters. While controversy abounded about Chris Evans voicing Buzz Lightyear instead of Tim Allen, they’re actually not the same character. Evans’ Buzz is the Toy Story universe’s human version of the character that inspired Allen’s toy Buzz. Lightyear serves as the movie that Andy would have gone to see in theaters before getting the toy, following the origin of Buzz Lightyear as an accomplished space ranger. Pixar’s Lightyear is set to debut in theaters on June 17, 2022.
