Catherine was born 2-29-1772 at Saratoga Co., NY and died at Floyd, NY, 3-25-1847. Catherine Woodworth's father was Amos Woodworth, born 5-04-1741 in Salisbury, CT, died 4-12-1812 in Florence, NY. and also served in the American Revolutionary War. Her mother was Eunice NEWLAND, birthplace unknown but died 2-12-1820 in Florence, NY, they were married 4-12-1764. Catherine was granddaughter of Caleb Woodworth (f. Benjamin Woodworth, mo. Hannah DAMON) who was b. either 5-22-1701 in Little Compton, R.I., or 5-22-1704 in Lebanon, New London, CT (ancestry.com listing) and d. 4-22-1775 or 30 May 1780 (ancestry.com listing) at Salisbury, CT. Caleb m. 2-27-1727 in Lebanon, CT Jane MUNGER, b. 2-27-1705, d. 1-24-1774 in Salisbury, CT.

Catherine, a 5th gen. American, was the dau. of Amos Woodworth 1741- 1812, born Lebanon, New London, CT, moved west when they did, died Florence, NY, married Eunice NEWLAND at Stillwater, NY where she and her siblings were born. There are Wills in Oneida for James , Samuel, Martha, no Amos or Eunice. Many of Catherine's children stay living in Rome, NY, Anning, (my 4x g moved Western NY, as did his son, Annin).

Her father, Amos, family started 1630's, England to south of Boston, MA in Scituate where his parents died; his grandfather's moving to Little Compton, R.I. The source for birth dates is from the Rev. War widows pension file (W-21343) of Anna SICKLES-HOLMES (Thomas), whom I'm not sure how she connects. Anna was born 19 days after Anning, so she isn't a sister...cousin maybe?
