I was gonna say lmao I remember him being pretty good this past year
One of the most criminally underrated players in baseball
I was in desperate need of a 1B last year in my dynasty league. Picked up Walker because his OPS looked pretty good. Dude is damn good. Made sure to try and catch a few Snakes games after he became a mainstay. Honestly, that's one of the best parts of fantasy sports is learning about players I'd never really check in on otherwise.
Crazy the backs didn't trade him this year
Why? He has another year of team control after this year and they have a roster full of high end young talent that could surprise people this year.
Yeah and we have no first base option ready yet at all.
Imagine you're the Orioles minor leaguer player of the year and you just get cut after a down year because the Orioles locked up Chris Davis.
Then the team that picks you up has fucking PAUL GOLDSCHMIDT in front of you.
2019 you FINALLY get a chance to play at age 28 and you have a great rookie campaign
THEN a fucking global pandemic robs you of your sophomore season.
2021 baseball comes back comes back, but you get hurt.
2022 comes around and you finally put it all together. You mash.
And you aren't even the most famous Christian Walker in America in 2022 because a senate candidate's son got famous for screaming on titkok.
Gamecock Legend
2010 super regional at the beach iykyk
By OAA he was as valuable a defender as Nolan Arenado last year
O’s should have kept him instead of Chris Davis.
Signing Chris Davis AND Mark Trumbo when we had Walker and Mancini on the farm AND just drafted Mountcastle (who they had to have known couldn't field for shit) was just...monumentally stupid
