Not even one star

Not even one star . The so called popular users are nothing but bogus . They’re fake accounts with pictures taken from websites of people that they are not aware of it . Many are models and actors . Many of them a foreigners that don’t speak English . They have the bio written by professionals. They are there to lure volurnable women for money. I was on that app for 2 days and immediately realized that all this good looking man are real but not on that app . I took one of the picture and did google image search . And yes the dr is not a real dr but a model and he even stated that his image is been using without his permission and knowledge and that he never was on the dating site . Scam and they should be investigated and Apple needs to be aware who they give their platform .

Customer Support DO NOT REPLY to EMAILS …

Their Customer Support Manager is unresponsive and ignored your email which was sent twice. And Talking to the Live Support Team twice is as good as nothing has been solved. One of them said they will reply within 3 days and the next will tell you the Supervisor will reply 1-2 days . They claimed that they are overwhelmed with emails? One of them even told you that they are from Mata, Europe. Mata is in Israel. In actual fact , their Registered Office Address is in SHA TIN, HONGKONG. Liars from the Customer Services who have attended to you. You did not sent any "Gifts" pictures but it was shown and credits was deducted. When you have explained to them, they ignore your emails twice and simply refused to REFUND YOUR CREDITS DEDUCTED. This is Day Light Robbery. Bad Customer Services who simply DO NOT REPLY TO YOUR EMAILS. Put up these Reviews in Media Apps to alert and warn people about datemyage.

avoid like the plague !

I logged onto this site just to see what it was like , the messages you get are wrote for some of these fake profiles to lure you in, most of these profiles are fake ourtime is loads better and monitored , most of these fakes live in another country what is the use of that ?

Stop being so obscure in your billing…

Stop being so obscure in your billing process. You charged me $600 in 2 days without any justification. No invoice, no credits usage against any timelines. A real rip off. They should be banned from the net.

I wish I was able to give DatingMyAge a zero out of 5 stars. It’s the worst there is out there. I have never experienced this magnitude of fraudulent activity with any other dating sites. There’s no way you’d find a date on this site when every move you make to get connected with a potential costs an arm and a leg including just reading incoming messages, sending messages, reading/sending emails, receiving pics, chatting, and all that even after paying for subscription.
I agree with all the other unsatisfied past users in this review section, DatingMyAge is nothing but a complete scam and ripoff. My biggest regret is not reading the reviews before falling in their trap. In a matter of days I was swindled over $600 with lousy access to any of the so-called services. For example, you’d be lucky to have 1 minute (no exaggeration) with a 20 credit purchase which costs about $16. Not to mention, you may not realise these ridiculous charges soon enough until it’s too late as they are not clear and forthcoming. You only get to find out later.
I soon called once I realised the ridiculousness of the charges and their lousy services and was told I was being charged because I was chatting with the “popular members.” The irony is that, those were the only members that were presented to me and lots of them. Not a single “non-popular” members visited my profile which means I’d be charged for any form of interactions with every single person I encounter. I was made to feel as though it was my fault that these “popular group” and not the other reached out to me. Hello? I paid the subscription fee to mingle, make it happen without breaking the bank. Very suspicious.
Someone in the reviews also mentioned not being able to filter for desired locations or age. I couldn’t agree more. The site is flooded with people from mostly overseas who are clearly there for the wrong reasons (perhaps sponsor opportunities). Reminds me of the tlc show, 90 days fiancé.
The operators of DatingMyAge need to be investigated - they’re fraud and pose financial risks/abuse to especially the vulnerable senior demographic. For my part, I will do whatever I need to to report these fraudsters to bring aware to their fraudulent acts.
My advise to anyone who may be thinking of joining this website, DON’T. Protect your pocket book and save yourself the headaches. They’re after your money and not there to help you find your soulmate.

With their baseless and defensive replies to comments here, it is clear that they do not care about user experience. There’s nothing exceptional about their site as compared to other dating sites. Their claim of tight security is completely bogus. I had people asking if I was real which tells me exactly what I needed to know about the safety of the site.

I received so many requests and emails in a short time! Real or NonReal? Everything has a Fee! I’m a Senior living on Social Security so money is limited! Then! There’s paying for Gifts! Expensive! This site is an out and out scam

This site is an out and out scam, employs bots to burn up credits to get you to pay more. VERY few genuine profiles on there, avoid like the proverbial plague.
Other sites are far cheaper and dont employ questionable tactics.

Don't dare to join here if you don't want your life to be ruin

I am a member of this site datemyage for almost a year now. And For 8 months I talked to a specific guy who make me believed that he also like me and he wants to be with me. Until recently he blocked me and he disappear. This guy is a confirmed member & popular. I just realized now, does he really exist? Is he really a true person? Is he fake? It really causes me emotional distress. I'm so much in pain now. I'm so depressed. Eight months is eight months, this is not a joke! I lost a LOT of money in this site because of that guy. I called customer support team but they have so many excuses. They will not offer help to at least make me feel calm. I keep calling them until I'm being blocked by the customer support team. My emails is just being ignored. They are not giving me any clarification.
DATEMYAGE, I WANT TO CHALLENGE YOU, if that guy is not fake as what you are claiming then I need an apology from that man. Remember, if you destroy someone's life with all your lies it will come back to you soon in 10 fold. Just watch out!

*Screenshots of suspicious conversation
*Time and date of correspondence
*Any further evidence that the profiles are dishonest.

Do be informed that we have anti-scam policy implemented in the platform to make sure that we can have a secure community. One of its grounds is, Misidentification, A member misidentifies him/herself (i.e., someone who uses another member’s profile without permission to communicate with you). We will reimburse all credits incurred communicating with this member, given that they have a confirmed profile status) is one of the grounds of such policy thus we'll be waiting for your email to make sure this concern is responded with urgency.

Unnerving But Got It Cancelled

I experienced much of the same as what others have described here. Within minutes, I started receiving video chat call requests and dozens and dozens of chats whose contents gave zero indication that the user had read my profile. 99% were from countries outside the US. Most of the chats were canned scripts posing questions like, "What hurt you so badly in the past?" or saying things like, "I was just in 'your city' and will be back in 'your city' again soon." It was an endless stream of this kind of chat that I found unnerving. I called the customer support number on the website and had the agent cancel the monthly membership I had just purchased AND delete my profile instantly. I didn't have to wait to reach a representative who was helpful and expedient. Keep in mind, if you delete your profile through the website (which, by the way, doesn't happen instantly - a popup window shows up saying that the deletion will be processed), you may not also be cancelling your monthly membership. Be sure to do both so you don't wind up with a monthly charge on your credit card. My advice is to call the support number and get both done in one swoop.

I also want to clarify that when terminating the membership, it is best suggested to contact the phone line directly for urgent resolution as the request through the settings goes through the email queue and usually takes 24 hours till it get responded. Waste of my money because they tried to…

Waste of my money because they tried to take another $324 out of my checking after I paid the initial amount. They lie and they cheat you out of money by charging you $17 per minute to talk to anyone on the app. Bad company. I wish I could get my money back. Someone needs to shut this app down.

The subscription activates the membership for 30 days along with certain amount of credits that you can spend in communicating with members, but once it runs out, you will have to top up for continuous communication.
Regarding how it can be spent wisely, Try an online chat instead of email unless you do not mean to send a 5000-character message every time. It costs 1 credit per message against 10 credits for 1 email and a reply comes in faster. Do be informed that refund policies can be checked in the terms and policy.

Too good to be true...

Living proof that people can operate a scam indefinitely, and get away with it. Of course, this is just one a few sites run by the same people, such as "dating.com".
Members will be inundated with offers to communicate with what are likely bot, or fake profiles, almost always, the women shown are drop dead gorgeous, and all trying to keep members interested, and paying expensive fees to continue their fake, and utter fantasy. Don't expect these crooks to go anywhere soon, as their operations must generate lucrative returns from the poor suckers believing this garbage.

My question is not answered and I'm still blocked

I have tried to open again my account on this site to see if it has been activated or still not. And actually it is not working. I'm still blocked by them for no reason or something announcement to me by email. It's so bad as a dating site who promote love for people even it has a most expensive cost in the world. It is more expensive from your life cost. They made love to be a business asset and made it being so expensive. Isn't it? Can't get rid of them

They gave me a refund when I said Id changed my mind about membership, but they won't allow me to unsubscribe, and after countless requests with both unsubscribe button and exchange of emails,I'm STILL getting multiple emails from them and from members. I've tried to delete my profile without success. I've blacklisted them but they still come into my inbox. Sick of them

This site forces your webcam to switch-on, be careful!

I have never had problems with my computer until I started using their website. They try to force my webcam to turn-on, and this causes my computer to freeze completely. It took me a while to realize that this was causing the problem with my computer but after careful monitoring, I finally realized that was what was causing my computer to freeze.

I would like start by clarifying that we don't have any technical means to have access or control your device. While video chat could be used as an opportunity to see your partner and hear them at the same time we also understand that it does not work the same way for everyone hence I am glad to inform you that there are three ways to avoid video chat from random members:

First is by hiding your profile so other won't know you are online and you can only get to choose who you want to chat with.
If that works for you, please follow this direction: Settings>>>Manage Account >>> Hide Profile >>> Save;

Second, is by turning off your camera for the website, This has to be set up on your end. Make sure that Google Chrome does not permit the use of your Camera and Microphone on our page. Press the 🔒 padlock symbol next to the name of our website in the top-left corner.
In the pop-up menu search for Camera and Microphone. Make sure that "Don't Allow" is selected next to both.

Once there, click the 3 dots on the upper right corner of the chat window and hit the "Block User".

Well what an experience that I’ll never fall for again. I was scammed £509 (not including membership. 1/2 price joining fee £24.99 ooo)
Don’t use please…. I’m just moving on.
Hopefully this will be on WATCHDOG soon.

Does not allow people to chat and forever asking to.pay again . Lost my £35.00 which is meant for Cancer Research Donation.

This website does not allow people to chat. Paid money meant for Cancer Research donation. To my dismay realised it does not work after viewing comments of 1% of " supposedly" clients.

Extortion!!

I revisited this platform yesterday at approximately 9:00 pm to interact with other users. After paying £19.99 at 23:11 hours the platform prevented me from exchanging texts after an hour. The reasoning was not enough credit to continue texting. Ludicrous. If dating platforms use such ridiculous pricing structures, users would go bankrupt.
Whatever you do, do not commit to pay any amount to use the datemyage.com platform. Extortion at the highest levels. It is laughable. Worse they are refusing to delete my profile even though I have sent several messages for this purpose.

It’s a total scam in addition to…

It’s a total scam in addition to requiring money for more “matches”. It makes me sick what they are doing.

Stay away, very far away.

I am so humiliated I even tried this site. As I said in my profile I am truly looking for possible friends. Friends. My beloved husband of 21 years has advanced Alzheimer’s he’s only 61. Horrible websites like yours are so terribly offensive. I am so alone, - why would I even think of pursuing a friendship with some fake person from your hurtful organization.
