MORRISTOWN, NJ — The holiday season is quickly approaching, and to help get you in the mood, award-winning actor, singer, and songwriter Darren Criss will perform hits from his recent holiday album at Mayo Performing Arts Center.

The holiday concert, A Very Darren Crissmas, will feature music ranging from big band Christmas classics to novelty tunes to modern-day folk-pop ballad.

Criss, who is best known for his appearance on the hit musical series "Glee," will perform one show in Morristown on Dec. 11. The concert is slated to being at 7 p.m., and tickets are selling quickly, so fans are encouraged to reach out to the MPAC box office at (973)-539-8008 for tickets at face value.

"A Very Darren Crissmas showcases his kaleidoscopic artistry and delivers both thrillingly unpredictable moments and a timeless sense of Christmas magic," Mayo Performing Arts Center stated about the upcoming performance.

Despite his recent focus on his music career, Criss' recent performance in Ryan Murphy's "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" earned him a Primetime Emmy, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Critics' Choice Award in 2018.

Criss is also regarded as a Broadway veteran, having appeared in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2015), How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (2012) and the most recent 2022 revival of David Mamet's play American Buffalo, in which he co-starred with Laurence Fishburne and Sam Rockwell.
