Applied Learning with a Laboratory Focus

academic spotlight

Our hands-on research program gives experience in a broad array of STEM fields. During discussion-based classes, students learn how to read primary scientific literature and analyze data. Students gain foundational scientific knowledge and the analytical skills needed to work in a research team. The core of the program is a summer internship with mentors in labs at UCSF or UC Berkeley.
