The 'Friends' and 'Cougar Town' actress — who will next reprise the role of journalist and author Gale Weathers on 'Scream' — has celebrated her sister Dottie's birthday by spending time with her and their other sister, Virginia.

The trio also recreated a picture from a few decades ago, showing a younger Cox with a haircut definitely resembling that of her 'Friends' character, Monica Geller.

Courteney Cox Recreates Picture With Her Sisters, Dottie And Virginia

"I had the BEST time with my sisters this weekend!" Cox wrote on Instagram, adding a video of her posing with Virginia and Dottie in the same exact way they first posed years prior.

Virginia is sitting in an armchair, while Courteney and Dottie are around her and the three adorably hold hands.

Cox also picked a very apt soundtrack for the clip, some unexpected time travel to the past via Instagram. The actress edited the video to Canadian pop punk band Simple Plan's debut single, 'I'm Just a Kid'.

"This only took one try," Cox joked in her Instagram Stories, suggesting that the trio had to go through several takes to achieve the perfect video.

Virginia McFerrin and Dorothy 'Dottie' Picketts are both married and not part of the showbiz world. Cox has also an older brother, Richard Jr., and nine half-brother and half-sisters.
