The gardens and butterflies were amazing. We drove in from Port Charlotte and it was well worth the drive. 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back in the future.

Cool spot! I like the historical aspect. The water was a little cold but had almost no chlorine, which was nice. Would give it five stars except the crowd was a little rowdy.

Wonderful, fun experience in heart of beautiful CORAL Gables. The play was fun and the theater is beautiful. Also, great venue with many, many restaurants around.

Lovely church and convenient to walk to from The Biltmore Hotel. The congregation makes it a wonderful community feeling when you attend.

Located on the University of Miami campus. We are glass art collectors and wanted to see the Palley Pavilion for Contemporary Glass. A very nice collection of some of the finest glass artists in the world.

Most of the museum was closed because they were getting ready for 2 new exhibitions.

Docent Gay, a lovely lady, very kindly opened up the home early for us on a Saturday morning. 12 of us from the British women’s club came for a private tour and it was absolutely fascinating. Wonderful to know the rest of the history of the Merrick family and Coral Gables and to find out that the city of Coral Gables was actually named after this house, and not the other way around! Beautiful home with lovely furnishings inside and some fab stories of the family and the city. It really took some guts to move from the north east to Miami 100 years ago when it was nothing but swamp land! We also appreciated the Merrick house allowing us to have a picnic lunch on the patio afterwards. Grounds are very nice and there is a lovely clean toilet to use as well. Fascinating and under $5 to tour!

Plenty of high end stores if you feel the need to spend, even if you don’t….the air conditioning in each shop is great. Well worth a visit.

Try to imagine Miami and the wilderness area that it was 100 years ago as you wind your way down Old Cutler Road. Few homesteads, no traffic lights, no paved roads, no congestion. Admire the bounty of trees and let your imagination wander. Try to find as many native plants as you can and name them. Make it a true adventure!

Wonderful little place. Gentleman at reception desk was extremely nice and helpful. Having grown up in Miami I still found things I never knew. Parking is across the street in public metered parking. Next door is Books and Books an unique bookstore with a nice cafe and outdoor seating.
Building was originally a fire station. Walking from the parking lot you can see 3 large windows. These spaces used to be the doors for the firetrucks

Not one glitch. Susan planned the most interesting and wonderful experience for us. From the meet and greet at the Ben Gurion airport to our departure, we were well cared for. The curated site selection was extremely professional. Our guide, Israel Garfinkel, was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Everyone seems to know him and respect him as a tour guide and war hero. We travel frequently and this will be one of our most cherished memories
