Regina P It didn't age well. Its main fault is that it is boring. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/01/24 Full Review isla s This felt pretty much a bog standard action thriller watch. Its pretty fast paced with some gripping moments but the plot felt a bit weak and there are definitely predictable elements to it. However, its a pretty easy watch - you don't need to be paying too much attention to keep track of most of whats going on. Its ok but pretty average fare overall I'd say so I don't think I'd specifically recommend it as such but it could be worse - the cast given pretty decent performances, given the script. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review ronald h "Control" is conceptually absurd and conspicuously low budget, but at least it gives us another chance to see Ray Liotta practicing his craft. He's so good here, it's easy to ignore the ridiculous premise of the film. Willem Dafoe is good, too. Everyone else in the cast is basically a plot device. But Liotta is a marvel to watch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie never lost my interest......the plot while somewhat predictable had enough changes and energy to maintain my interest from beginning to end.... I have never seen a movie with either Willem Dafoe or Ray Liotta that was not worth watching! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie has an interesting, although not unique concept. It starts out interesting enough, then comes to a grinding halt. The only tension is whether or not Liotta is going to re-offend or not, and that is not much. The various romantic relationships really don't add anything to the movie. It is dull. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a very amazing movie. I thought it was such a good movie. David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...with performers like Liotta and Dafoe (along with Stephen Rea and Michelle Rodriguez in supporting roles), the film is elevated to something that's surprisingly watchable.. Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 7, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews
