This is the most influential Thrones fan community in the world, relative to it's size. What this subreddit is about: Oh boy! Reddit Game of Thrones fans are a wacky bunch a shitsticks! Let's point and laugh. There are books too apparently, TL;DR.

Does anyone know where one can get that awesome Byzantine flag?
It is most often used by monasteries so I don't know if you'll be able to get one. Not sure though...
I thought it was the Spanish flag for a moment but yes it’s awesome and I want one as a bumper sticker
I saw some street vendors selling them South of Monastiraki square (towards the acropolis) last year
Very easily. I bought one from a shop in Plaka a few years ago. I'm sure you can find online too.

Someone who reads Greek, what does the inscription mean?
I believe its a response to Mehmed when he made him the offer to surrender Constantinople.
"As to surrendering the city to you, it is not for me to decide or for anyone else of its citizens; for all of us have reached the mutual decision to die of our own free will, without any regard for our lives."
Cool! Thanks!
The inscriptions above the quote read :
Constantine XI Dragases Palaiologos
Last Emperor of Byzantium
Shame that they name him the Emperor of this "Byzantium" instead of Rome.
triggered because 'Emperor of Byzantium' and not Basileus of the Romans.
There's very similar statues (copies?) In Mistras and Athens too.
The same akward left hand. I don't really like them.
That's his choke a bitch hand.
This is soooo beautiful!!! I love this picture.
Where is this?
At Pireas.
Nice, it looks similar to the one out the front of the big Church near Monastiraki?
Athens Metropolitan Cathedral, in the corner of the square
:D
So cool...
Real shame they named him Emperor of Byzantium and not Emperor of the Romans like they should have
Was this unveiled on the 29th of May?
then his own two nephews join the ottomans LOL
I know that it stands in Athens, but does anyone know where exactly?
I completed an article about Constantine XI Palaiologos: The Last Byzantine Emperor.
