Get Out on the Water with Fury Water Adventures

Try housemade ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt in tropical flavors like Cuban coffee, key lime, guanabana, and piña colada. They also serve a variety of dairy-free sorbets and liquor-infused gelato with flavors like rum raisin and rum runner.

Salute! the Sunset

Located on Higgs Beach on the southern end of the island, Salute! is one of the island’s best (and only) beachfront bars and restaurants. Created by the proprietors of the iconic Blue Heaven restaurant, Salute! features lighter, Caribbean-influenced takes on Italian classics. Party island-style by watching the sunset dip below the horizon over tasty bites and drinks.

Take the Ferry to Dry Tortugas National Park

Plan a sunny boat trip from Key Bight to the small islands 70 miles west of Key West. Dry Tortugas National Park is a birder’s paradise, a history buff’s treat, and a snorkeler's dream (hence the name “tortugas” for its abundance of sea turtles).
