What travelers are saying
- cxv115b17 contributionsWe had a personalized tour of the studio. Listening to the music and the history added to the ambiance. It was like a "Back to the Future" moment as if time stopped in the 50's. You could picture Buddy Holly eating in the kitchen and Norm doing his magic in what was considered a state of the art recording studio. When Holly performed in England, a young Paul McCartney recalls the tremendous impact it had on his life.
Thanks to Ken Broad and living legend David Bigham of The Roses and his wife, for sharing their stories. It is noteworthy to mention a few blocks down the Studios is the Norm and Vi Petty Rock and Roll Museum which we had already visited. Much of the displays at the Museum were provided by Ken and David. You got to see both to appreciate the experience.Written June 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But did not realize he was already a wealthy and successful performer/writer. Try and visit the Nor-Va-Jak recording studio which is separately operated and requires advance appointments.Written October 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Boricua_GlobetrotterFort Walton Beach, FL514 contributionsModest Zoo Park in the Heart of Clovis, NM. Decent variety of animals for a good entrance price. Unfortunately the Reptile exhibition was close. Still, it would be a good experience for a family outing!Written August 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AaronRound Rock, TX1 contributionWe parked our travel trailer for one night on our way from Austin to Grand Canyon. Rosemary was very communicative to arrange for our arrival and greeted us with goodie bags for the kids to feed the alpacas, and cookies for them! We had such a great stay, and enjoyed Rosemary so much, we booked again for our return trip. Quiet property and conveniently located not too far from the highway.Written November 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dana MClovis, NM32 contributionsReally enjoyed taking my grand kids to St Bernard Farms this year. They had so much fun with the activities and all the fun play equipment available throughout the area. My 7 year old granddaughter even did the zip line and can;t wait to do it again next year. We spent 3 1/2 hours there and left very happy. Looking forward to the Christmas light display.Written October 15, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - M JAustin, TX7,990 contributionsMy husband and I were traveling through Clovis on a Monday and decided to have a picnic at Hillcrest Park. Hillcrest Park is a large park, had many picnic tables, lots of parking, a swimming pool and a zoo. The picnic tables did not have covers but we found one in the shade of a big tree. The grass was well mowed.Written August 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
