Fortunately they had a covered patio with big ceiling fans that was a big help. Staff and cooks were overwhelmed due to a large crowd. Waited 40 minutes for table and waited 45 minutes for the food. The owner is Frank Howards son Jimmy Howard. - Love the Shen V... vWinchester, VA255 contributionsThis used to be a favorite of mine, especially the buffalo grilled cheese..... however their disgusting sign on the door recently really has turned me and many of my law-abiding gun owner friends off. We won't be coming there and spending any of our money in this establishment.
You have now by making this announcement made your bar a target to those that want to rob and harm people.
So now you should just put a sign up that calls your lousy place a "gun free zone" which is an invitation to all the bad people to come take advantage of your patrons, gun carriers or not.
Because the law-abiding citizens will not carry there, but the criminals definitely will. So now your patrons will not or should not feel safe in this place.
Now there is no one to protect them should a mad man come in and start shooting up the place or come in and rob every single patron.
Stupid move on your part, I won't be coming back until I can carry to protect myself, my family and those around me from lunatics in this world.
