Experience smarter banking at Educational Employees Credit Union (E.E.C.U.)

Unlike many other types of financial institutions, we are a not-for-profit financial institution solely owned by our members. There are no stockholders - each EECU member is an owner in equal standing and has the right to attend the Annual Meeting and vote for the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee.

As of December 31, 2023, by asset size, EECU is the 86th largest credit union in the U.S., the 17th largest in California, and the largest locally-based in the central San Joaquin Valley.  We serve more than 367,000 members with over $4.5 billion in assets.

E.E.C.U. is very financially secure. Depositors enjoy insurance coverage to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. We are a full service retail financial institution. Checking Accounts are free and pay dividends when balances are over $500. Share Savings Accounts, certificate accounts and Individual Retirement Accounts have some of the best rates available. Home loans, consumer loans and credit cards are available for almost any purpose, also with some of the best rates around.

Accounts are easy to access through any of our branches in Fresno, Clovis, Hanford, Madera, Merced, Paso Robles, Porterville, Reedley, Sanger, Selma, Tulare and Visalia, EECU and CO-OP ATMs (more than 30,000 CO-OP ATMs nationwide), our free online and mobile banking services, 24-hour toll-free automated Personal Telephone Access system, and the Member Service Center which is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

You are an important part of your credit union - make the most of it by taking advantage of all we have to offer.
