Mission
To provide outstanding customer service while protecting the safety, health and welfare of the City’s residents through the administration and enforcement of the Building Code to ensure a better-built environment for all.

Permit applications can be submitted through the following methods:
1. Online for selected residential permit applications.
2. In Person at the Building and Permitting Division located at 5399 N. Dixie Highway, Ste. #3, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm with the exception of City-observed holidays.
ATTENTION! THE BROWARD COUNTY UNIFORM APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN MODIFIED, PLEASE PRINT THE CURRENT APPLICATIONS, SEE LINK BELOW!
* All inspections requested prior to 3 p.m. will be performed the following business day. Inspections requested after 3 p.m. will be scheduled for the second business day.

Prior to arriving at the Building Department, call 954-630-4350 or send an email to Customer Care Services at building@oaklandparkfl.gov to:
- Make Corrections to existing plans (resubmittal process)
- Pick up issued permits
- Building Records Request
- General permitting questions
- Schedule Inspections/Permit Access
