The City of Lenoir Police Department works in partnership with the community to anticipate, define, and meet the needs of our city with respect to public safety, community well-being, and law enforcement.
Police Reports
Please call 828-757-2100 to obtain police reports such as arrest and incident records.
Crash Reports
Crash reports investigated by all of North Carolina's law enforcement agencies are forwarded to the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The public may obtain copies of crash reports from the DMV one of two ways:
- By calling 919-861-3098
- By mailing a request TR-67A form to:
- NCDOT-DMV Traffic Records Section

Raleigh, NC 27697-3106
- NCDOT-DMV Traffic Records Section
The DMV will provide certified copies at a cost of $5.50 and citizens must fill out a TR-67A form.
