Property Taxes

The North Carolina General Assembly authorizes cities to levy property taxes for many purposes including administration of government, cemeteries, fire and police services, planning, parks and recreation, streets, and many other local government services. Property Tax Bills

Property tax bills are public record under North Carolina law law. That means anyone can ask for the value of a piece of property in Lenoir, and North Carolina, and anyone can review property tax bills and past payments.

City of Lenoir property tax bills are available on MyGovHub at lenoirnc.mygovhub.com. Users can create an account or look up individual accounts via the "Try QuickPay button" at the top right of the page.

After clicking the "Try QuickPay" button, select the "Property Taxes" tab, enter the mailing address for the property tax bill, and click "Find Accounts." Then, select the tax year to view the property tax bill for that year.

  1. Select the "Property Taxes" tab.
  2. Enter the mailing address for the property tax bill.
  3. Click "Find Accounts.

Property Tax Information

Property information including owners, size, value, and more is maintained by Caldwell County and available on the Caldwell County Geographical Information System website.

The public can look up properties by address, owners, parcel ID, and more. Search results will show the property owner and information including acreage, value, and zoning information. A link to the tax card is also available.
