Geographic Information Systems
The City of Conover Geographic Information Systems (GIS) department was established in 1992, with GIS duties being handled by Planning Department staff. The first full-time GIS staff member was hired in 1996.
The City of Conover is a member of the Catawba County GIS Consortium, a partnership of county & municipal governments formed to consolidate the County’s digital mapping data. Access to GIS data for Conover and the rest of Catawba County can be found HERE.
