What is the Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA) and why is it so important? The ACA funds ministries and services for our local Catholic community - including our neighbors and our parish.  Your donation ensures the availability of outreach ministries, education, faith formation, support for parishes and more.  Your donation supports outreach ministries that: care for the sick, comfort the grieving, counsel those in crisis, inspire CYO camps, engage youth communities, promote faith sharing, welcome refugees and much more.

This year, St. Louise parish aims to raise $233,000. We encourage everyone to please consider contributing $365 or if you’re able to, the Archdiocesan average gift of $515. Your support, no matter the amount, is a testament to your dedication to your local Catholic community and its life-changing ministries. Any gifts exceeding our goal will directly benefit our St. Vincent de Paul food bank, extending a helping hand to those in need.  We are grateful for your generous response.

      Dear St. Louise Family,

I want to share a brief introduction to Archbishop Etienne’s letter about the exciting changes in our parish family’s leadership. This new structure, while new for us at St. Louise, mirrors the familiar setup at St. Madeleine Sophie, which brings a sense of continuity and shared purpose.

Archbishop Etienne had two key intentions in mind with these assignments. Firstly, to provide a strong, pastoral presence for our entire parish family, especially our Spanish-speaking community. Secondly, to provide strong leadership to replace our original school buildings that are failing.

I've been touched by the gratitude expressed by many parishioners to the Archbishop for his thoughtful appointments. I'm confident that your own appreciation will add to this chorus of thanks.

You can read the Archbishop's letter here.

      With warmth and prayers,

      Fr. Gary Zender
      Pastor

Archbishop Paul D. Etienne and the Priest Personnel Board just released the Official Appointments, including pastors, parochial vicars and other assignments. This was after several months of consultation with priests, deacons, staff and parishioners from around the archdiocese. New assignments will go into effect July 1, 2024.
