And yet, beyond the fact that he adores Quinn, little has been revealed about the man with a personality big enough to capture the outspoken reality star’s heart. He Was an Early Bitcoin Supporter

While most of us are just beginning to add words like “crypto” into our vernaculars, Dumontet has been singing its praises for years. In 2013, his company became the first food delivery service to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment.

The tech guru also wrote an article for HuffPost on the topic. “The cryptography behind it is fascinating to me. [The other founders and I] have software backgrounds and are excited about innovation. That was a motivator,” he wrote of the company’s decision to embrace Bitcoin. “There are advantages to us as well: No transaction fees. No chargebacks. We don’t have to worry about fraud.”

Luckily, that wasn't the case for Quinn. “Him and I had an amazing steak dinner and got to know each other, and we just hit it off right away," she recalled, adding, "He's everything that I ever wanted.”

Better yet? He was looking to buy some real estate. “And then [my friend's] like, ‘Also, he's looking for a house,'" she said. "And I was like: double bonus.”

Despite his early retirement, it was announced in April 2022 that the business mogul was getting back into the CEO game, this time alongside Quinn. The couple's company is called RealOpen, and it uses a secure, proprietary software to verify crypto funds in the purchase or sale of a home.

“We saw a great market opportunity for cryptocurrency digital asset holders,” Dumtontet told Forbes of their shared venture. “If someone were to sell their crypto for cash first, they'd have to do that, then get the verification proof of funds letter from the bank, and that incurs a taxable event at that moment,” he explained. “With RealOpen, they can keep their crypto throughout that entire process, which means continued participation in the market. We provide continuous verification of funds throughout the process so that the seller knows, as the buyer places offers, that they really do have this money and they can't play games with the transferring cash in and out. That taxable event only occurs at the moment of the closing.”

He Hates the Spotlight

While Quinn seemingly eats the cameras up, her spouse tends to shy away from them “He's the opposite of me in every way, because I love to put myself out there,” the realtor told Bustle. “I love to be fabulous. He doesn't care about dressing up or looking good. He doesn't care about any of that stuff.”

"He was very calm throughout the whole process," she told PEOPLE in May 2021. "I am humbled and grateful that three of us came home from the hospital."
