Ben Affleck brings along his mother as he reunites with his ex Jennifer Garner for a pre-Thanksgiving family trip to the movies

Their divorced was finalized last year, but they've maintained a strong bond with their children.

Ben Affleck, 47, and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 47, were spotted out in Los Angeles on Wednesday as they went to a movie theater the day before Thanksgiving.

Joining the family for the holiday was Ben's mother Christine Anne Boldt.

Jennifer was dressed casually and warmly for the rainy with a caramel-colored cardigan over a black and white striped shirt.

She paired her top with relaxed acid wash jeans and brown suede boots while rocking minimal makeup. 

Ben was similarly bundled up in a charcoal jacket with a gray–blue sweater underneath.

He added a pair of loose jeans and gray sneakers to the outfit.

The family seemed to be excited about the movie they were about it see.

Ben looked relaxed as he chatted with his son Samuel, seven, and daughter Seraphina, 10.

Jennifer walked ahead with Violet, 13, and had her arm over her shoulders while displaying a lovely smile from ear-to-ear.

Their family outing wasn't an isolated event for the former couple.

Ben and Jennifer regularly attend church together with their children, as well as sporting events and school functions.

The Love, Simon actress has also been an essential support as her ex has dealt with his addiction to alcohol.

The former couple began dating in mid-2004 and were married the following year during a private ceremony on the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The couple announced their separation in 2015, and the divorce was completed in October 2018.

After a busy 2018 that included starring in the HBO series Camping and the gay coming-of-age comedy Love, Simon, she had a more reserved 2019.

The actress recorded voice roles for the animated film Wonder Park and the Netflix children's show Llama Llama.

Next year is set to busier for her, though. Jennifer is currently film Yes Day, a comedy in which she'll star opposite Carlos star Édgar Ramírez.

She'll also star in and executive produce the series My Glory Was I Had Such Friends for Apple TV+, based on the memoir by Amy Silverstein about her struggles leading up to her second heart transplant.

Jennifer will also lead the comedy film Fantasy Camp, about a middle school teacher who pursues her dream of being a Broadway star while attending a performing-arts camp for adults.

Ben also has a stacked slate for the upcoming year.

He'll play a former high school basketball star struggling with his own alcohol addiction in The Way Back, and he'll co-star with Anne Hathaway in The Last Thing He Wanted, directed by Mudbound's Dee Rees and based on the Joan Didion novel of the same name.

He's currently filming the thriller Deep Water with future Bond girl and current Knives Out star Ana de Armas, and he'll reunited with his old friend and collaborator for the medieval drama The Last Duel, which the two actors will also write.

Ben will return to directing for two upcoming films, the war drama Ghost Army and a remake of Witness For The Prosecution, originally directed by Billy Wilder in 1957 from the Agatha Christie novel.
