Katherine Schwarzenegger's second wedding dress revealed; Chris Pratt talks 'broken heart'

Katherine Schwarzenegger's wedding festivities included not just one, but two custom Giorgio Armani Privé dresses. 

Saturday, the 29-year-old author tied the knot with Chris Pratt in a Montecito, California ceremony, described by the pair in matching Instagram posts as "intimate, moving and emotional."

Schwarzenegger revealed the first of her wedding day looks in the post shared Sunday, a strapless, bright white column gown with sweetheart neckline softened with lace. Her groom also wore Armani, which the pair described as "the perfect suit."

Wednesday, the luxury Italian label highlighted the high-fashion on Instagram. The series of photos included a view of Schwarzenegger's first gown from the back with its beautiful train outstretched. The bride's second custom gown, as well as sketches for the looks and her sister Christina's maid of honor gown, were also pictured.

Schwarzenegger, donned a slinky, spaghetti strap dress enhanced with off-the-shoulder sleeves for her second look, which she wore while kissing Pratt under the stars. 

About a month before tying the knot, Schwarzenegger was coy when asked about her big day, telling USA TODAY: "We haven’t really gotten that far (into planning)." 

She and her husband had a short engagement, after revealing in January that Pratt had popped the question.  

Pratt, 40 this month, and Schwarzenegger had people guessing if they were an item when they picnicked last June. While there weren't moments of PDA snapped, their meetup appeared to go well as the two exchanged smiles and shared laughs. 

This is the second wedding for Pratt, who was previously married to actress Anna Faris from 2009 to 2018. They share 6-year-old son Jack. 

The "Jurassic World" actor reflected on his heartbreak in an Instagram Story shared to "Fox NFL Sunday" contributor Jay Glazer's account Tuesday. 

While catching up with Pratt at the gym, Glazer remarked that he looked like “a totally different guy” after saying I do. 

“That’s what 12 pounds of wedding cake will do to ya,” Pratt joked in response.

Reveling in his current state of bliss, Pratt added: “God is good. God heals the broken heart.”
