The 2019 Chevrolet Cruze is available in two body styles: sedan and hatchback. It also comes in five trims: L, LS, LT, Diesel, and Premier. With its impressive list of standard equipment, the base trim is an excellent value. Standard technology includes a 7-inch touch screen, enhanced smartphone integration, and a rearview camera. As you climb the trim ladder, you'll find features that often aren't available in lower trims, particularly regarding driver assistance technology. With that in mind, you may want to consider the Chevrolet Cruze LT.

When new, Chevrolet offered a lot of options for the 2019 Cruze. That means you may be able to find Chevrolet Cruze models with features in addition to those listed here.

• Chevrolet Cruze L: The Cruze L comes only as a sedan. Standard features include a 153-horsepower four-cylinder engine, remote keyless entry, Teen Driver, a rearview camera, and the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with two USB ports, Bluetooth, a four-speaker stereo, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.

The LT is also the lowest trim to offer safety features such as rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and lane change assist.
• Chevrolet Cruze Diesel: The Cruze Diesel swaps out the gas engine for a 137-horsepower four-cylinder turbodiesel. This trim loses automatic climate control but gains proximity keyless entry, push-button start, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
• Chevrolet Cruze Premier: The top-level Premier reverts to the gas engine and includes all of the amenities from the Diesel trim and gains back automatic climate control. This trim adds a heated steering wheel and an upgraded rear suspension. The Premier is the only trim available with advanced safety features such as automatic high-beam headlights, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning.

What Does Chevrolet's Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Cover?

Chevrolet offers a certified pre-owned program for vehicles six years old or less and with fewer than 75,000 miles. Eligibility is determined by the vehicle’s initial sale date. For its certified pre-owned models, Chevrolet extends its original new-car limited powertrain warranty to six years or 100,000 miles from the original sale date. CPO models also get a one-year/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty after the four-year/50,000-mile new-car warranty expires. Qualifying vehicles also get free maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles. Chevy CPO vehicles must pass a 172-point inspection. Additional benefits like towing and roadside assistance may be available.
