CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CMPD police have arrested a 16-year-old juvenile as a suspect in relation to a murder of a 17-year-old that occurred on February 1, 2024, according to a news release.
The release states that on March 9, 2024, CMPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located and arrested the juvenile suspect after an investigation and charged the suspect with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
CMPD says the suspect has been placed in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
