The Song of Bernadette
To all who are reading this (Catholics & non-Catholics alike), I am assigning this movie to you as homework. It's in black in white, but don't let that discourage you! It's absolutely remarkable. The movie is about the story of St. Bernadette and Our Lady of Lourdes. It might make you cry. You have been warned. Link is below. Save this post if you need to.

God loves us so much that He gives us everything, even His own mother.
John 19:25-27 Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
Yep, pretty good. But have you seen The Mission?
Thats such a good movie, although as a child the native bazooka was always my favourite part 😄
Its very good, its also worth noting I think all the actors in it are now dead so that's quite a reflection.
This movie introduced me to the Catholic faith. It is one of the reasons I'm Catholic today! Still one of my favorites.
