Chad L. Coleman is an American film, television, and voice actor best known for his roles in The Wire and The Walking Dead.

Biography[]

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Coleman and his four older siblings were placed in foster care before he was even a year old. They would remain there until Coleman was 14, at which point their grandmother took them in. Coleman developed his passion for acting early and began acting while in school. As an adult, Coleman joined the U.S. Army in 1995 and served as a video cameraman stationed at the Pentagon in D.C. until his discharge in 1999. Coleman's first acting credit was before he even joined the Army in 1992. He has since starred in several Broadway shows and has become a prolific actor. He married actress Sally Stewart on June 7, 1999 and has two children. He also works with children growing up in similar circumstances to himself and is a spokesman for Date with Dad.

Coleman portrayed sadomasochistic abductor, rapist, and killer Malcolm Ford in the Season Seven episode "The Company".
