What travelers are saying
- LaCinda BSolonghello, Italy5 contributionsI was so struck with the contemporary front space that has been added to this historic place of worship. The combination of the traditional -- and gorgeous -- main part of the structure with the modern and light-filled front is just striking.Written August 1, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BigD420Atlanta, MI7 contributionsAmazing that this Synagogue is still here after World War II. It likely survived because it was hidden. Would have been hard to find before the town put up directional signs. This gem is as interesting as any church in Italy. There is no longer a Jewish population in town so it is so nice that they kept this architecture untouched. They also have two museums in the building.Written January 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Terry SGreen Valley, AZ1,345 contributionsThis tower dominates the Casale Monferrato skyline and is a very impressive structure. Apparently a tower has been at that location for almost 1000 years, but was reconstructed after fire destroyed the original.Written August 30, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bindinimkiMiami, FL72 contributionsThe exterior was being renovated so I couldnt see it much but the interior was gorgeous and serene. very well maintained while still keeping the original features and charm. There were also some art installations in the lobby that were quite nice.Written August 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Terry SGreen Valley, AZ1,345 contributionsThis park is the former site of the plant that produced deadly asbestos that was used in the construction of thousands of buildings in Italy. The Eternot company apparently eventually learned about the problems its product was causing and ignored them, for profiting reasons. To this day, that company has not admitted responsibility, and former employees and building inhabitants continue to die. The park itself is not spectacular but is still a good monument to the people who have suffered.Written August 30, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Interior has some nice frescos. The statue of the Virgin of the Assumption, which dates from 1780, was sculpted by Giovanni Battista Bernero.
