UPDATED: The late-night shows will be in repeats until next week, but the daytime talk shows returned with news and fresh episodes Wednesday (today).

Carrie Ann Inaba, the longtime judge on “Dancing With the Stars,” has become a host on CBS’ “The Talk.” She will have a lot of time: There will be no spring edition of the ABC dance contest.

Inaba, who has appeared as a recurring guest co-host, made her official debut Wednesday. She joins Eve, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

“I feel so fortunate to be able to sit at a table with such dynamic, strong, beautiful, unique women,” Inaba said. “It’s such a safe space and you’ve given me a place to share some of my stuff, and you’ve helped me and you’ve healed me and I look forward to many more deep conversations.”

Inaba replaces Julie Chen, who departed in September. Chen left the chatfest after her husband, Les Moonves, exited as CBS Corp. boss over multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

Les Moonves has denied the allegations, but he lost a $120 million severance package and was fired for cause after an investigation into the accusations.

“The Talk” airs at 2 p.m. weekdays. Another guest Wednesday was Nick Cannon, host of Fox’s “The Masked Singer,” which debuts at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

There will be more promotion this week on “The Talk.” Shemar Moore of CBS’ “S.W.A.T.” visits Thursday. Mel B of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” visits Friday. That spinoff of “AGT” debuts Monday on NBC.

“The View” returned Wednesday with a Day of Hot Topics. But the big headline was host Abby Huntsman’s announcement that she is pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. Huntsman and husband Jeffrey Livingston have a 13-month-old daughter.

The twin news caused him to faint in the doctor’s office, Huntsman told viewers.

“I was sitting there with my feet in the stirrups with the robe on,” she said. “He passes out. He’s got two doctors on him wiping his face with cold towels.”

She added: “I looked over. Are you serious? You aren’t delivering these things.”

The ABC talk show airs at 11 a.m. weekdays.

The guest Thursday will be Alan Dershowitz, author of “The Case Against the Democratic House Impeaching Trump.”

On Friday, Amy Robach of ABC News will promote “20/20: The Bobbitts — Love Hurts.” That two-hour report looks back at the headline-making saga of Lorena Bobbitt, who cut off the penis of her then-husband, John Wayne Bobbitt, in 1993.

The program, which premieres at 9 p.m. Friday, features John Bobbitt and not Lorena Bobbitt. The case brought worldwide attention to domestic violence.

She had accused him of mental and physical abuse. She was later found not guilty of maliciously wounding him due to temporary insanity.

She accused him of rape before the dismemberment. He denies that he raped her and was later found not guilty of marital sexual assault against her.

He would go on to star in pornographic films. She founded a group that works to prevent domestic violence.
