There is less than an hour's drive between and residence, the £4.7million Bucklebury Manor, and Adelaide Cottage, the home of Kate and William. The Princess of Wales's sister Pippa and her husband James Matthews chose Bucklebury Manor, a seven-bedroom, grade II-listed Georgian home with a drawing room, a library, and 18 acres of land, to host their wedding reception in May 2017.

The Middleton family has only shared a few pictures of the house through Kate, her brother James (who spent the early days of the pandemic there), and Carole and Michael themselves.

Pictures have shown a conservatory with giant Velux windows and floor-to-ceiling windows, two living rooms with a subdued colour scheme, a variety of couches, and two traditional log fires.

The house features seven bedrooms, as well as an entry hall, a drawing room, a dining room, a library, and a sitting room. It also has five reception rooms.

Carole gave a glimpse into the interior of their private residence in the midst of the pandemic.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping, she discussed her favourite room and said: "My kitchen. It's a kitchen/dining/sitting room and it's the heart of the house."

The open-plan space, Carole added, is the ideal place for her and Michael to welcome visitors because it is equipped with a traditional white Aga oven.

"I love a kitchen supper, where I have a small number of guests. I'll cook something delicious and make it look lovely, then we'll finish with a kitchen disco," Carole commented.

James, Kate's brother, also provided a glimpse of the garden when he recorded a video of himself in the area shaving his beard.

He unintentionally exposed the patio with a grey outdoor dining table and different shrubs as the camera panned to face his now-wife Alizee Thevenet.

In the video, fans could also see creeping plants growing on the building's back walls.

The stunning 18 acres of grounds are home to a tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool.

After the birth of Prince George in 2013, Kate and William spent several months at Carole and Michael's home.

They even posted their first official family portrait taken in the estate's garden.

The pictures displayed a sizable lawn bordered by tall trees and plants.

Additionally, Carole owns another magnificent property nearby. Because of this, the mother of the Princess of Wales must pay more for it.

The mother of the Middleton family has a converted barn next to her primary residence, but she doesn't live there because it serves as the headquarters for her party business, Party Pieces.

As a result, she must pay business rates on the property because she uses it for her business.

Party Pieces HQ has its own Instagram highlight where its 74,200 followers can see snippets of both the inside and outside of the building.

The red brick structure has floor-to-ceiling windows at the entryway and wooden slats on the exterior.

In one image, cows gathered extremely near to the converted barn, emphasising the picturesque rural setting of the property.
