Good condition antique Italian Model 1891 Carcano Truppi Speciali Carbine in 6.5 x 52mm caliber that was manufactured by Brescia in 1898, as marked on the barrel. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including barrel and stock. Still has the original, distinctive horizontal bayonet lug. Metal finish is original blue showing wear to brown and gray patinas. Bore is good, bright with good rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks and scratches. Left side buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice M91 Carcano TS Carbine with matching numbers and a desirable antique date.
