With confirmed Priority Seating, we arrived an hour prior to our 8:30 scheduled time and we were about 15th in-line. WAY TOO LONG OF A WAIT for the actual experience. It was cold outside and even Colder once we got inside. They didn’t keep us informed at all!!! Very frustrating to wait for 4 hours to get seated and then the actual show took another 3 hours with all the delays. Not worth it. As a long time fan, I did enjoy the experience but I’ll never go back. They should be WAY more prepared and inform the audience of what is going to happen as they wait in line!!!!. It wasn’t until the last hour that they even put the show on the TV’s for us to watch while we waited. Sorry CBS, but not worth the wait‼️

So much fun!!! I read through many reviews and they all give great insight, so I won’t repeat (as well as rules stated pretty clear on the tickets). I will mention a couple things that we hadn’t come across and were unsure of until we got there. Yes, your phone gets checked, but you can keep your purse/small bag/sweater with you (they have you put it under your seat). As for Fitbit, I suggest, just don’t bring it with you. The people behind us at security were asked to go back to their car to put it away (although, later we did see someone get to check theirs with their phone 🤷🏻‍♀️). We came from Chicago and didn’t rent a car, so we left ours at the hotel, not to take any chances. The last section of waiting (after you check in your phone) they have snacks to purchase and time to eat and go to the bathroom. We had a couple snacks in our bag that they didn’t take away when our bags were checked, just no eating or drinking in the studio. Hope that helps 😊

We had tickets to see the Price is Right in November.
The line starts forming around 4am, and you need to be there by 6am to ensure you will get in, as ticket holders are not guaranteed entry.
While waiting, there is a small snack shop with drinks, ice cream, sandwiches, and snacks. There is also a CBS gift shop with shirts and other souvenirs.
You will have to go through security before entering the studio. They do not allow cameras or phones inside, so you will need to leave them in the car/hotel, or with security and pick them up on the way out.
Once inside, the Bob Barker Studio is much much smaller in person than it appears on TV. The studio holds about 325 people, and you have a very good chance of being seen on TV.
The taping usually takes about an hour, and Drew Carey entertains the crowd during commercial breaks. They also play music, speak with the audience, and give away extra gifts at the end of the taping.
It was a lot of fun, and great to be in a studio as historical as the Bob Barker studio.

Was excited to attend the Price Is Right. Terrible experience. Time was advertised to be 12:15. Was suggested get there an hour early. Finally got into studio at 3:00 pm. Was a cold day and heaters weren’t turned on and you wait outside. When production begins you are encouraged to clap and make noise but this means you can’t hear what is being said. Plus you can’t see what is happening. Having some more monitors would help. Finally got out of there around 5:30. 7 hours of my life I would rather have been doing something else.

We were in town over the holidays so I emailed the link on his website for tickets before we left (Jan 9th show)... on Tuesday the 6th I got a call asking if I still wanted to come... of course I do. We were told to arrive by 5:15 on the 9th for a taping that begins at 7pm (its shown live on the east coast but taped for west coast and future repeats).Your name is put on a list and checked off when you get there. You can park for free inside the studio's lot (entrance on Fairfax).
First let me say...arrive EARLY... if I ever go again I would be there by at least 4:30, we got there at 5 and the line was quite long... we ended up sitting along the left side with an obstructed view of the stage. Also...leave your cell phone in the car or prepare to have it taken and given back after the show... your belongings are searched and you go thru a metal detector once your name is checked off the list and then you go to a holding area with benches. At that time you are urged to use the restrooms prior to entering the studio which are right there.
You are taken into the studio around 6pm and about 6:30 one of the main writers for the show comes out to 'warm up the crowd'... he was great. At 7pm promptly out comes Bill Maher and the show never stops... This was the 1st show back after break so there was Lots to talk about.. the guests were: Chris Hardwick, Salman Rushdie, Carly Fiorina, Paul Begala and Jay Leno ... it was a great show. Once the tv part is done you get to see the HBO overtime taping which lasts 10-15 minutes. Then Bill did a segment taping to be shown later about a law firm... it was pretty fun. We had a great time... only thing I wish was Bill had some interaction with the audience like Jimmy Kimmel does (highly recommend a taping of his show as well) but overall I would most definitely go back.

Fun day attending the Price is Right taping.
We had priority tickets but still had to deal with the nasty waiting in line. The process is long and uncomfortable! You will be in line from 8am till noon before you are escorted into the studio. They do sell food to you while you are in line...water is $5.00 I suggest you bring your own, But you can not bring it into the studio.
The taping is a lot of fun! the entire experience is fun.
The waiting around is not fun or comfortable.

Although interesting to watch not recommended! 5.5 hour wait time from the time you check in for example if you check in at 9:30am the actual taping starts at 12:30pm and lasts until 3:00pm if your arrival time is 12:30pm your taping will start at 4:10pm and will last until 6:45pm. You are NOT allowed to bring cameras if you want a picture be prepared to pay $20 for one they take and NO FOOD is allowed on studio property if you get hungry in the 6 hours you are there you must purchase their $5 soda or water bottles yes I said $5 each. If you get hungry be prepared to pay $3 for a small bag of chips or $6 for a mini bag of peanuts or $10 for a thin frozen quality hamburger or a personal mini pan pizza. They don't treat you well at CBS compared to other studio tapings where they feed you for free! Oh and don't forget you must sign a four page written contract so make sure you bring your lawyer to review the fine print! With all the game shows, talk shows and sitcoms filmed in LA its best to not waste your entire day at the price is right you only have a 3% chance (9 People out of 240) of coming on down so it's not really worth going just for the 3% chance of getting picked and unless you have the look and personality the producers are looking for don't count on getting picked.

Very disappointed in the process of seating process. We did not have VIP tickets but we were got in line at 1:00pm in the afternoon for the 5:00pm taping of the two h our show. It was a very hot day and we were # 34 in line so felt we had a chance of decent seats. $10' to rent a chair to sit while waiting in line. Water and snacks were available on the street (thank goodness, it was a very hot day). We were finally escorted on the CBS property at 4:00 pm only to be mis managed in lines once again to enter the building. Waiting until almost 4:45!in yet another line. People that stood on the street at the end of the line were taking into the building first and we ended up in the nose bleed section on the ceiling. We were instructed that we were not to sit for the two hour taping and should clap on demand. Could not hear a thing and could not wait to get home to watch it on TV. Don't bother. Never again without a VIP PASS.

This has been a lifelong dream. I went to the Price is Right the first time in Fall 2012 with my husband. I didn't get picked, but we still had loads of fun!!! It is about a 4-5 hour wait in line, but I enjoyed talking with other audience members. We got our pictures taken then we interviewed with Stan the producer. We went in and watched the show, which was very exciting. It is really cool to see how the show is made. It is so much more different then seeing it on TV. I thought it was an amazing experience.
In February I booked 3 days worth of tickets for the week of March when I would be there. I went with my girlfriend. The first day I went thru the same experience and I stated above. It was just as much fun and I enjoyed meeting new people. This last time, we went at the spur of the moment and had some T Shirts screen printed, with "Drew pick me!!!" " I need a car or a vacation!!!." (Hot Pink) Well, when getting interviewed I mentioned to Stan that I needed a vacation and I would love to go to New Zealand. I really didn't say or do anything spectacular through the interview. There were about 10 people in the group and we really have only about 10-15 seconds to try to stand out.
On our second day....I kept doing jumping jacks in line, and was having a great time chatting with others !!! When it got to the interview., I did a few more jumps and when Stan got to me, I told him "forget New Zealand !!! I will take Hawaii, its half the distance and will save you on costs." So he said " you think it is a distance issue?" I said what else could it be !!! He proceeded to ask me my favorite game and why --- Pick a Pair because you give out a lot of trips.
Well we get in the show,,,,, and there is already a person with my name in contestants row, and then a person from our Interview group is called, so I honestly thought there is no way I was getting picked this time.... I was SHOCKED !!! I was the next person called, and I was so stunned and so nervous through out the show, I just couldn't believe it!!! I lost my game but won the Showcase!!! I am going back again in a year with friends who want to try this experience.
I am writing about this now, because I was just searching for Stan and Drew's address to write a Thank you card. It was such an awesome experience, and I recommend going whether you are picked or not, it is so much fun!!! Get tickets in advance if you can, so you get Priority seating which is guaranteed, if not, you may end up waiting in line outside the studio.
GOOD LUCK ALL AND HAVE FUN !!!
