Senior: My experience with this school has been amazing. I've been attending for 6 years now and I feel they offer such a unique experience compared to other schools in the area. It is a college prep school and I feel very ready for college. I feel that if I had gone to my local public school it wouldn't have been the same experience. I've also made many great friends and had many great experiences at my school. I have been working with our arts department ever since I joined the school and it has been so influential to me as a person. I discovered my passions and friends through the arts and I hope to continue that after graduating. This school has greatly shaped me as a person and I am unbelievably greatful for that.... Senior: My experience in Mission College High was unlike any other. For starters, we are allowed to do college classes on a real college campus. With this opportunity, I was able to be on track to completing a college degree, a AST, in Business. This college experience has taught me to be prepared to go to different types of universities all around the country. There are very little things I could complain about the school since the overall curriculum, life, and education was enjoyable. There was a time when a substitute teacher told us how impressed he was with Missions campus, and that it could potentially become into an actual university, instead of a community college. Senior: Overall, while there are pros and cons to the school, Branham's ups clear it's downs. For one, there are some devoted and exceptional teachers who have taught there for a long time, and have spent numerous years perfecting their craft, while there are certainly other teachers who are newer and are still learning. Senior: Leigh High School has a lot of great teachers. Most of my teachers loved their subjects and genuinely cared about their students. Leigh also has a lot of resources to support their students (for instance, they have a Wellness Center). From my experience, the community is pretty accepting of others' identities and the academic environment is relatively non-toxic. Senior: My overall experience with Westmont High School is great. There were some ups and some downs as with any high school, but Westmont has great resources on campus for every student. For example, we have a wellness center students can go to, we have our school counselor as well as a therapist. One of the faults of Westmont High School is certain teachers, certain teachers seem to treat students differently or aren't as engaging in the classroom as others. That's just been my experience with certain teachers, there are some amazing teachers at Westmont. For example, my AVID teacher has been a huge support system for me as well as extremely helpful with college applications. Senior: I have been going to this school since my Freshman year and it has been pretty good being here. I started school virtually due to the pandemic and I did have some trouble with my grades, but I did have the opportunity to do summer school which was on campus. Being on campus and having summer school helped me a lot as I was able to actually meet and talk to the teachers. Overall throughout my years here at this school, I would say it is great since it has helped me become more comfortable with myself and also prepare myself for college classes as it does give us AP classes to take. Senior: Looking back on my time as a senior at Prospect High School, I can confidently say it's been amazing overall. The best part has been the strong sense of community, from the welcoming atmosphere to the diverse opportunities available. I've particularly enjoyed being part of the drama club. Junior: I've been at KIPP since KIPP Heritage, so I always felt connected with KIPP Navigate. The campus is very neat compared to other KIPP high schools. I really love our mascot, Tony the Tiger. The teachers consistently check up on me, ensuring I am safe and comfortable. I enjoy our pep rallies and school events. KIPP Navigate really focuses on making our school better and pulling our community together. We do advisory circles every week and get to know new things about each other all the time. I will really miss being here after I graduate. Since this is a small school, I won't forget a single person. Hopefully, more people will come to this school and enjoy this amazing school spirit. Alum: Boynton high school is amazing, it’s where I spent the last two years of my high school career, important information to know is boynton high school is a continuation school which means that everyone that was there was at some point failing and was at risk of not graduating. The school has about 200 students in total give or take and it’s perfect that way making it perfect for community building within the student body as well as for giving all the students the extra support and attention they need. I’ve been to plenty of schools in my time but boynton is the only school I felt really saw me for me and helped me hone my work ethic and prepare me for not just college but the real world, last but not least the staff are all fantastic wonderful people and I’ll never forget them.
